Dusit Thani Hua Hin

My wife and I stayed at Dusit Thani - our first visit to the brand, even though we visit Thailand every year. We found the hotel as had been described in other reviews - not the newest or most modern but of a very high standard. The reception area is very grand with really helpful staff and the resort facilities, especially the pool area, were first class. We'd upgraded to a Club Room and had a partial sea view and also sight of nearby mountains. The room was in truth, rather tired but was well appointed and serviced all the same. Like the room, the bathroom was fairly dated but again, had everything needed. We did have a couple of blockage issues in the bathroom but they were dealt with quickly and with no fuss whatsoever. The staff throughout the hotel and spa were excellent - so friendly, helpful and professional. It would be unfair to pick out any single member of the Club Lounge team for specific praise as they were all particularly noteworthy for their excellent, friendly service. That said, one member of the Club Dining Room team (Malika) does deserve a special shout out. In spite of being very busy serving Club Lounge guests, she was always spot on with service and of course, had a smile on her face when to be fair, most would have had a frown due to the work load! She really was an asset to the team. Whilst visiting, be sure to use the spa and gym - a few minutes walk away or jump on the buggy and be driven there. We used all the restaurants at some point and the quality was very good in each - as was (here I go again), the service provided. We did encounter a bothersome problem half way through the stay but the manager, Mr Ajish Menon, intervened quickly and resolved these very professionally and with great empathy. We really appreciated his personal involvement and his actions taken to resolve and make up for the situation. An excellent example of customer service! All in all, a great stay and hopefully, we'll be back next year, when we will be bringing friends along for their first visit to Thailand.

Serene place in Hua Hin. Vast property with sustainable projects like greens and herbs garden. Lovely horses on the beach. Hotel facing the lovely sea with fine sand. Huge pool and restaurants overlooking the ocean. Don’t forget the food! The aglio olio that I have tried and the Peruvian dinner spread was delicious! The sunset is perfect in this place. A place that nourishes your mind, body and soul. Dusit Thani Hua Hin; thank you for your lovely property were we got energized.

The Dusit Thani's view is amazing and the room is spectacular. The pool is very well designed and we had a most relaxing swim there. We paid a visit to the organic farm and the paddy fields. We met the Boon Buffalo Family and the Happy Hens. We also fed Simba the baby goat. We had tried all the restaurants except San Marco which is closed on the days we visited. The food was marvelous.

We loved our stay at Dusit Thani, so relaxing, beautiful pool, great variety of food within the resort and exceptional service. Ban Benjarong (traditional Thai) and The Restaurant were outstanding. The staff and the friendly, helpful service they provided was the best we have experienced in many years of travelling. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you !
