Dusit Thani Hua Hin

We stayed for a week over Lunar New Year and chose this hotel because the website described it as “our expansive beachfront sanctuary serves as a haven of tranquility.” Unfortunately, the reality was somewhat different. On our first evening, the Club Lounge was extremely busy, with only one member of staff dealing with customers. Service was slow and somewhat erratic, and this remained the case for much of our stay. It felt like the hotel was understaffed. Our dinner at Benjarong was acceptable, but the service was not at the standard expected for the price point, so we chose not to return. Afternoon tea was pleasant enough, but we found the afternoon tea at the bakery at the Marriott to be far superior. Our first day at the pool was disappointing as there were not enough sunbeds available. Shortly afterwards, preparations began for a large Indian wedding. That evening we were unable to sleep due to noise from the party. When we raised the issue, the hotel initially claimed the noise was coming from the neighbouring hotel. It clearly was coming from downstairs. The following day the “garden pool” was closed for to prepare for the the wedding party the following day, and music from their celebrations could be heard clearly at the other pool. Even trying to enjoy a quiet drink in the Club Lounge was difficult due to the noise from the pool area. The next day’s wedding events on the lawn created further noise throughout the afternoon and evening, making it difficult to relax either at the pool or in our room. When I raised these concerns with one of the managers, he appeared disinterested and said he did not believe the wedding would have any impact on our stay. He also commented that the wedding guests were more important. We had received no prior warning about the event or its likely impact, despite booking directly with Dusit. Had we known, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. One of the manager's commented that some guests found the wedding quite interesting, Unfortunately this was the fifth time we have encountered a large wedding celebration during a holiday and the novelty has worn off. Unfortunately they are not compatible with guests seeking a quiet, relaxing stay. I don’t understand why the hotel would allocate the majority of rooms to a wedding without informing other guests. To their credit, the hotel did eventually reduce our bill, but only after we pushed the matter. However, we would much rather have had the quiet, relaxing stay we originally planned. That said, the hotel itself is very attractive. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff at Nomada were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed our breakfasts and evening drinks there. The spa treatments were also first class. We only ate in the buffet for breakfast once and were put off by wedding guest having their feet massaged. This seemed highly inappropriate in a food setting. We didn't return. Unfortunately, despite these positives, the disruption during our stay means we would be very unlikely to return.

I stayed for three nights at Dusit Thani Hua Hin in a Dusit Club Room and had a very enjoyable experience overall. From the moment I arrived, Pim and Honey at the reception made me feel very welcome. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, and their warm hospitality really set the tone for my stay. Staff members like them make a big difference in the overall experience. My stay also included a massage at Devarana Spa, which was absolutely wonderful. The massage was deeply relaxing and one of the highlights of my trip. If the hotel ever offers promotions that include daily spa treatments, I would definitely be happy to return and enjoy them again. The Dusit Club Room had a fantastic view overlooking the swimming pool and the ocean. Although the hotel has been around for some time, the renovation has clearly refreshed the rooms, and the room condition felt comfortable, clean, and well maintained. During my stay, there happened to be a wedding event at the resort. While it’s understandable that such beautiful resorts host celebrations, the area was a little busy and noisy at times. Since I was hoping for a very quiet and relaxing retreat, it was slightly noticeable. That said, the beautiful beachfront setting, comfortable rooms, and especially the warm hospitality of the staff made my stay very memorable. I would certainly be happy to return to Dusit Thani Hua Hin in the future.

Great family time, enjoy private beach and farm activities.

We have visited the Dusit Thani Hua Hin many times. Our visit last week did not disappoint. Since our last visit there have been staff changes. so we were familiarising with the new staff. We had a club room on the 7th floor and our visits to the club were always a delight - with good quality snacks and drinks but regardless of this the staff, their cheerfulness, helpfulness and service made your stay memorable. Thank You Khun Pim, Khan Best, Khan Beau, Khan Honey, Khan Tin (trainee) You were all a delight
