Reviews for AKA Rittenhouse Square

Beyond our expectations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Tony at AKA Rittenhouse went out of his way to be sure we had a nice stay here in Philly. We have stayed mostly at AKA Central Park over the years. We love that property. However, Tony made sure we were comfortable here in Philly and our room he assigned to us was very comfortable and roomy. We would highly recommend a stay at AKA Rittenhouse. Thanks Tony!

Wonderful Staff at a Beautiful Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I have been to the AKA Rittenhouse several times and each time has been nothing short of amazing. The staff are kind, always ready to help, and knowledgeable of fun things to do in the city. The building itself is beautiful, centrally located, and has all of the amenities you could ask for. I always encourage my friends and family to stay here when they come to Philadelphia!

My home away from home :)

This would be the second time I’ve been at this location and I must say this hotel so accommodating. It could be the smallest request, the hotel staff is there so help whenever you need them. I must say Tina is amazing and Juliet just a beautiful soul inside and out. I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. My wife and I live in Florida and this place is my home away from home. Thank you to them for making us feel so special. Room is amazing. I can’t find anything bad about this hotel. From the pillows to the bed to the showers and the staff just amazing!!! Room review: 10 out of 10 Staff : 10000 out 10 Restaurant and bar : 10 out of 10

Mice Problems...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

MICE: There was a real, live mouse in my Pent House floor room. It ran across my living room area when I was watching TV. I thought, were my eyes playing a trick on me? Nope. A few minutes later, the mouse - or perhaps a second mouse - ran across the room again. I travel a ton for work, NYC, DC, other major cities with rat problems, and this was the first time I've ever seen a mouse inside my room. I hurried to pack my things and told the front desk person why I wanted a different room, and the most surprising thing was how UNsurprised she was. Didn't blink upon hearing it. My take is that they're well aware that they have mice. The bad news: if there's mice on the top floor, they're on allll the floors. SAFETY: There are no locks on the room doors, only that fake electronic lock that prevents certain keycards from working when it is engaged. I couldn't help but be anxious that a member of the hotel staff could just walk into my room any moment of the day or night while I was sleeping. Please put some kind of latch or chain or real deadbolt on the doors for when the room is occupied. ROOM: The hotel is loud and energy inefficient. You will hear a lot of street noise especially on the lower floors. The room was decently clean, but not upon close inspection (example: opening a bathroom drawer and seeing a bunch of hairs inside the drawer). Otherwise, bed was reasonably comfortable and staff very nice.
