Friendly staff and excellent service. The suites are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them. The restaurant and food top bar are also great.

I was delighted with my stay at the Kimpton Hotel. Uniquely decorated and the room was incredibly quiet. Loved the walkability of this area as well. Will definitely book with this hotel my next trip.

Under Renovation. No Hot Water. Unresponsive MGMT

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Chose it for the location (great). Arrived Thanksgiving. No food or beverages. Loud dogs barking next door as we entered our room. Hot water the first night. Next morning at 7 AM maintenance woke us up and knocked on our door asking if we had hot water. Room next door didn't. We didn't either. Should have known. Went to a football game the next day. Arrived at hotel cold. No hot water again. Notified the front desk. No response. Woke up next morning. Still no hot water. That night there was a club open on our floor and we had to pass door man to get to our room. Good luck explaining that to an 11 year old. Dogs barked all night. No hot water again. Complained again. Have been complaining for a week. No response. Door men never once held the door for us. This hotel is under renovation, doesn't care about customers. Buyer beware. Great location and it may have been great once. But it's trash now.

Lovely Stay

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Monaco Philadelphia. There was an issue when I first arrived because I made at reservation for an accessible room and was given a regular room. Once that hiccup was taken care of, I was overjoyed with my room. Immaculate and quiet room. The bed was soooooo very comfortable! Great for sleeping in! For people who need an accessible room, please double check prior to your arrival because it makes all the difference in the quality of your stay, especially if you travel solo. This is a beautiful hotel! Also, I utilized the room service from the restaurant Red Owl Tavern, located on the ground level, which worked out terrific. I will definitely return again but making sure confirming the accessible room is reserved for me. Last thing, a shout out to Sage, the bell hop. He was very kind and patient. He came back and moved my luggage to my updated room and got me more ice for my ice bucket. Nice staff too! Thank you!

We didn't like this hotel as much as the Sofitel, which was full. We probably wouldn't stay at Hotel Monaco again. Decoration was weird; no hangers in the room; housekeeping knocked and opened our door despite the occupied signed on the door.
