Philadelphia has an old-world charm, yet there’s nothing old-fashioned about our hotel’s stunning guestrooms. That’s because they’re sleek and modern without ever feeling cold.

Perfectly Fine. Hotel is a bit worn overall, but was clean enough. Front desk staff was lovely. Restaurant is quite overpriced. Central location. Room was reasonably sized. Minimal amenities. Absolutely fine for a business trip or quick stay.

I had a very nice 2-night stay for a conference. I’d be happy to come back here for another conference, or even as a tourist. Check in was quick and easy. I stayed in the lovely large room #2101 with a view of mostly the roof, but also the Philly skyline including the city hall clock tower. There was NO mold, dust, bugs, hairs, or garbage from previous guests. The bed was comfy and had lots of pillows. The thermostat was in the room and it controlled the temperature appropriately. The blackout shade totally blocked any outdoor light for nice, dark sleeping conditions. The fridge, coffee pot, and television worked just fine. I liked the various electronics charging, seating, and lighting options in the room. The toiletries smelled very nice. I am a very light sleeper. I had my white noise machine with me for sleep time and did not hear any hall or neighboring room sounds while sleeping. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Valet parking was convenient – but quite expensive at $108 my whole stay. The conference rooms, water, food, and seating were great. Be sure to go to the 33rd floor where you will experience an AMAZING view of the Philadelphia skyline. Well done Loews Philadelphia Hotel!

The staff were very attentive and anticipated our needs. The room was very nice with a great view of center city Philadelphia. So many nice places to eat and visit within walking distance. The valet service was excellent as was the restaurant staff.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Loews and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a grand lobby and is located in the heart of downtown, which is very convenient. However, arrival by car was a bit challenging due to the very small, cramped valet area which was a bit chaotic. We did not want to valet (we were self parking in a local nearby garage), but simply were dropping our bags and then returning to collect the bags at the end of our trip, this was all very confusing/chaotic and the valet staff didnt quite know what to do....this needs improvement for what is a luxurious hotel, sadly the arrival experience is not luxurious at all. Once inside, the check-in process was friendly, and the on-site bar and restaurant were nice amenities. Our room was a good size with a very large, super king and very comfy bed, a fridge, desk and a safe. The modern, spacious bathroom with a shower cubicle was a plus, and the room was well soundproofed. However, the curtains didn't fully black out, leaving gaps at either end, which made the room very bright when trying to sleep in. There was an ice machine and plenty of charging options. We were expecting a pool based on the photos on Expedia, but there was no pool, and we received no notification of its closure which was very disappointing! On the bright side, the view of the city skyline from the 33rd floor viewing deck was amazing! The location of the hotel was great, right in the heart of Downtown, next door to the famous Macy's and mere steps away from City Hall. The hotel has a nice luxury feel, whilst keeping its historic features. Overall, Loews offers a comfortable stay with some small areas for improvement particularly in the arrival/valet/parking scenario. We would recommend staying here and definetly would return in the future.

The main issue is the noise. The doors slam themselves shut, and the rooms offer little insulation from the noise and the vibrations. With wedding parties all night and guests coming and going from their rooms, it just wasn't possible to sleep – which defeats the hotel's main purpose. A secondary issue is that the room has a sickly sweet chemical smell. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and the location is convenient.
