The hotel was comfortable and very well organized and run. The rooms are a bit older, but are very large and well furnished and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. If you enjoy the outdoors, this location is terrific; there are a number of great hikes adjacent to the hotel.

We just got back from the Hilton Tapatio don't let the looks deceive you. Everything is expensive one beer was $20. More importantly my daughter swam in their Family and Falls pools and ended up being in the hospital for fecal matter from there pool. When I called to speak with a manager I was placed on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back only to be transferred to security Dominquie whose response to me informing him of this matter was " well did she drink the pool water", followed up by " "well are you just calling to let us know". He then spoke with his manager who stated they treat their pools. When asked again to speak with a manager I was given an email. I at no point spoke with any manager regarding this issue. So, if you want to pay high prices, get sick and get no compassion or customer service by all means book with the Hilton Tapatio. Stay toon for email response from Hilton.

Richard W the IV our Bellman/Driver went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. He was kind, fun and informative. At one point he suggested we stop for a photo and the photo he took was one of the best pictures of our family from the entire trip!

After reading some of the reviews, I was very fearful about this place. But overall it was good. It is a big properly and people have talked about it not being maintained but that didn't look like the case - there was enough staff walking around and I didn't see garbage or things thrown around. Overall, the grounds were reasonably well maintained. Some reviewers have talked about the dated rooms and while they were a bit dated, overall the room was good. At least the room that I had nice Quartz counters and very nice lighted mirror and the plumbing in the sink looked relatively new. Carpet was a bit dark color - but overall looked clean. So definitely not the most modern of rooms but decent. One downer was that several of their electrical plugs did not work - effectively not leaving me with enough outlets for charging my devices - hope the hotel pays more attention to that aspect. The building stucco was meant to convey a Mexican style and does look traditional butI don't think that will change any time soon since that is the overall outside theme of the place. The elevator was slightly run down with the planks at the floor showing their age. The place where this Hilton delivers is the water area - it has several pools and the main pool has a big fountain tower - so that was fun. They also have a fully enclosed very long slide - I think it is one of the longest ones that I have seen in hotel pools. This is somewhat criminal on Hotel's part - the water in the slide and the pool where you end up splashing after the slide is not heated. I didn't go in the water slide due to the cold pool but my son didn't care - he must have gone 15-20 times - so for me, that is good enough! But if it was heated, I would have appreciated it even more. The property has very well maintained squash and tennis courts and several fountains to give it a nice ambience. Room choice at this place is somewhat difficult but we decided to stick to the main building on the side across from the falls area. That worked out very nice since we were very close to the falls area. I appreciate the staff's willingness to find me the room upgrade since I am a Hilton Diamond member. If you are booking at this hotel, do check out their offers on the hotel specific webpage. We had a nice deal with breakfast for 2 included and no resort fee and some additional Hilton points. And this place delivered on the breakfast - they had a nice breakfast buffet with lots of choices including some really good fresh fruits. Overall considering what we paid for the hotel and what we received with breakfast buffet, water slides, water fall etc. I am overall quite happy with the place.

We had an amazing time here at the resort. It was beautiful and very comfortable. I made a reservation at the point of view restaurant and we called for resort transportation and Richard W came for us and gave us some wonderful information about the resort he also offer to take a picture of us to hold as a memory which was really thoughtful. He’s said he took his wife three times to that restaurant and I can see why. The view and food was amazing. Would love to come back
