Went for a long weekend for some much needed rest and to quietly celebrate a birthday. Had never been to Scottsdale area. But in the end, never saw much of Scottsdale. The resort was simply fantastic,,, refined, unpretentious, and welcoming. We didn't leave for the 1st 2 days. First off - the staff is fantastic. Could not have been nicer. Service was prompt, so friendly and knowledgable, and never intrusive. The grounds are terrific with plenty of lovely architectural details. Breakfast on the patio is the best. Beautiful views, orange blossoms (in back), great food (really great) - funny, kind, friendly staff. Nice pool. Pool staff / service was terrific. There were only a few young families there - who made ample use of their "outside" voices... but that was a very minor uncontrollable matter. The latin playlist around the grounds is fantastic (BV Social Club, Ruben Gonzalez, etc). The bar is cozy. The casitas were terrific. But it's the people who work there - they make the experience great. Thanks Royal Palms. We'll be back. Maybe next time we'll get to see Scottsdale.

Excellent hotel with historical vibes. Staff was very attentive to needs. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. A true gem of a hotel with timeless elegance. Close to the scottsdale historical center and in front of a mountain where you can hike.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and the food was delicious. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Though, the woman (who I am thinking is the restaurant manager) was rude. I would recommend the hotel, but not the restaurant, unfortunately.

Took the grandchildren for Spring Training and had a wonderful time. Spent 3 nights. Rooms were clean and well maintained. It was close to Salt River Stadium and Medieval Times which was a good experience. Service was great, food was good and the resort is stunning.

Aged, dirty, uncared for. Horrible from ADA perspective. Rooms was dark and old. Needs a massive renovation. Surprisingly bad consition for a Hyatt Unbound collection property. Banquet staff was personable, but all other employees clearly did not want to be there.

We booked the 4-night package on Luxury Link and it was well worth it. The package was an amazing value! My wife and I spent four days there and wish we could have spent a few more. The food at T. Cook's was the best I have had in a while. The menu also offered a local-products-only meal, which was terrific. The spa was very nice and we fully enjoyed each of our treatments. The rest of the time was spent laying by the pool, shopping in the Scottsdale mall, and playing golf. I would recommend Royal Palms Resort and Spa to any and all.
