I had an amazing experience at Amatara. I want to thank you beautiful wellness staff for the amazing massages and being so accommodating. Every lunch and dinner I was treated by fantastic, kind and helpful service by the team at SENSES- thank you to Oil, Nin and Noona. Every meal was delicious and the personal touches really made the difference. Sometimes experiences are made just that bit more special by the service you receive, not just the location, amenities or facilities. Those were fantastic too, but it's the team of hard working and kind people that bring it to the next level- thank you.

The resort is nice and clean and staff are very friendly. However, the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. The mattress was really firm, which gave us a backache, the pillows were soft and would deflate almost touching the mattress. The “King size bed” were 2 beds put together which had a separation in the middle which added to the discomfort. There weren’t any clear instructions on the phone to dial room service, house keeping, etc. If you’re looking to enjoy the view of the ocean, it will be somewhat spoiled with big cargo ships most of the time, either being parked there for days, or passing through. A lot of activities are dependent on the weather here (even if it’s just cloudy), such as wanting to do a private dinner on the beach, renting kayaks, swimming on the beach. One thing to note is there’s not much nearby to do. The place is far from tourist spots/attractions - something to keep in mind. Ordering food at their restaurant or rooftop is also not “cheap” as by Thailand's standards, so don’t expect to have inexpensive food, it’s regularly priced compared to the US. We were here for our honeymoon and there were definitely much better stays we had during our trip. Some positives: the breakfast buffet (included) was great which we enjoyed. The golf cart service was quick to take us to and from the main entrance to leave the property. The property is well maintained, large, beautiful (including the rooms), and pool was clean.

Our stay at Amatara Wellness Resort in Phuket was absolutely incredible, and we can confidently say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff, amenities, and attention to detail made this an unforgettable retreat. The level of care and hospitality at Amatara is unmatched. You can truly feel that their motto of taking care of you isn’t just a statement – it’s a promise they live by. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a flawless experience. Special recognition goes to Oil, the waitress at the Senses restaurant. Her kindness, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness stood out throughout our stay. She remembered our drink preferences, anticipated our needs, and even surprised us by preparing a romantic table on our last night without us asking. It was such a beautiful gesture that we will never forget. Another standout was Ploy, the physiotherapist. Kuno, who has had physiotherapy before, was particularly impressed by her thoroughness, expertise, and genuine care. She provided targeted treatment that helped him tremendously, addressing his previous injuries with incredible precision. The massages were a highlight for both of us. We’ve had massages in Phuket, Krabi, and even from Thai professionals in other parts of the world, but nothing compares to the quality we experienced at Amatara. Each session was expertly tailored, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and restored. We stayed in the Ocean View Pool Villa with the Full Board Meal Wellisure Package. Waking up to the rejuvenating view of the ocean at sunrise from our villa was an unforgettable experience. The villa’s amenities, including the 8 complimentary pieces of laundry, were a thoughtful touch that added to the overall luxury. The food at Amatara is fantastic. The Wellisure package offered a wide range of healthy options, but there are also other restaurants on-site for those looking for variety. We chose to dine at the healthy Senses restaurant most nights and were consistently impressed by the delicious meals. During our stay, I tried yoga for the first time. The instructor was incredibly patient and insightful, introducing me to both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. It was a transformative experience, and I look forward to continuing my journey with yoga. Kuno, who has extensive experience in fitness, was initially skeptical about the fitness sessions included in the program. However, he was blown away by the quality of the training and how much he learned. For someone as experienced as he is, that speaks volumes about the trainers’ expertise and commitment. Amatara Wellness Resort is more than just a beautiful getaway – it’s a place that truly prioritizes your well-being. Every aspect of our 4-night, 5-day stay was meticulously planned and executed, making it a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you’re looking for a wellness retreat, a romantic escape, or simply a luxurious stay, Amatara is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and rejuvenating getaway.

Big thanks to Jasper and Tong for welcoming us and greeting us with refreshing cinnamon ice tea and making sure we understood all the hotel amenities & our villa perks. The place is magical and the staff always ensured that we had everything we needed at all times. The hotel has loads of facilities that are all amazing and were fun to explore.
