Amora Beach Resort

Good service and really friendly workers and very attentive to guests. Good breakfast, dinner I can't comment as we had just once in the hotel, most of the evening we was exploring around Phuket. The resort facilities is very good and the rooms very good and clean. A bit expensive I must to say.

Great beach front location, excellent breakfast and extremely clean. Fantastic resort for the family, rooms are spacious. Was disappointed with the check in and check out process. Having stayed at a number of hotels across Phuket on our holiday I was expecting more from this 5 star resort. I do appreciate we did check in at a busy time but after 45 mins of waiting there seemed to be no order to who was getting seen and unfortunately some people don’t understand a queue!!! We are ended up checking out earlier as the hotel had told us they couldn’t accommodate a late checkout for us. Again understand it’s all subject to availability but we were told they couldn’t accommodate but then when we are leaving we can now accommodate?? My recommendation would be guest services should have communicate this sooner. On the whole it’s a fabulous resort my daughter loved the kids club staff amazing and the beach club attached to the hotel was fantastic. Yes we would come back I would just recommend the hotel looks at improving check in/ check out procedures.

We loved it so much here we stayed twice on 2 different occasions on our trip to Thailand. It was a great discovery and excellent hotel - modern , tastefully decorated with lots of cool airy spaces to explore. Ideally located right on the beach, felt very safe, beautiful grounds and a selection of swimming pools - all clean and well maintained, never busy and lot of good spaces for children with a mini water park in one. The staff here were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem with our room and it was dealt with immediately and we were moved to a different one. I noted a previous comment about smoking and we notified receptionist about someone smoking on the patio next to us. People obviously find it hard to follow the rules about non smoking rooms. Delicious breakfast with masses of choices and lots of theme nights in their restaurants. Loads of effort goes into entertaining guests without it being too much- they had a lovely beach featival one evenjng with food stalls in the grounds, a fire show and a activities for both children and adults - nobe of this is pushed on guests. Towels provided for the pool and beach sun-beds. And yes people reserve their bed chairs by the pool but by mid afternoon most have had enough of the heat. Poole side rooms have their own patios and chairs so this solves that problem. It didn't feel crowded at any time and there is so much space and greenery its a lovely place to relax. One pool does look directly over the next door hotel and all their air conditioning units which is a bit ugly but not a big deal. Stunning sunsets to be enjoyed from the pool and beach and also from a bar above the restaurant which we only discovered by chance. Lovely cocktails and happy hour from 5-6pm every day. The rooms are spacious and well equipped - they are not brilliantly insulated so you can hear noises from other rooms at times but its not a loud noisy place and all their air conditioning bars shut at 11pm so its not likely to attract lots of people who want a lively and late nightlife would definitely recommend for couples and families, sylish, modern and the gardens and beach are beautiful. excellent breakfast and lovely staff

We did a lot of research into a resort that had it all and we landed on Amora. We were insanely impressed. Our room was spacious and clean. Sadly our balcony did look to the neighbouring property which is under construction but in all honesty we didn’t care. Everywhere you look is beautiful, so aesthetic and really appealing. The breakfast is a MUST. It’s the most impressive spread I’ve ever seen at a hotel. It was so fresh, yum and the varieties were endless. We would definitely go back just for the breakfast. The pools were simply beautiful, always a good temperature and never too many people. The biggest issue is people reserving their chairs with towels and not being there for hours. But you notify staff, they will deal with it. We had a gorgeous meal at the same restaurant where breakfast was served. My husband said it was the best massaman curry he’d ever had. There are also daily food specials and drink deals which we made the most out of. We would HIGHLY recommend Amora to anyone want a spot outside of bustling Phuket, not far from the airport but in great proximity to the beach and all their restaurants. We hope to be back!

It is a fine 4 star hotel with reasonable price in Phuket. It is clean and have a direct access to a Bang Thao beach. They have to add more staffs for their hospitality services. Especially in the check in counter during the peak hours. It has two big pool and big lawn for activity. Birds are aggresive in the pool especially when you order food. Other than, room is nice and clean. In front of the hotel there are nice restaurants and groceries.
