Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket

Beautiful situated hotel right on the amazing Karon beach. in a quite, private like end of the normally very crowdy beach. The hotel compound/facilities lives up to the 5 star rating, however the staff seems stressed and it's clear that there is a need for more qualified staff and management. The breakfast is fine, but comparing to many other 5 star hotels the quality is in the lower end. The coffee station concept needs renewal.

What a great hotel. We had a room with a pritvate pool. The adults only pool was fantastic. If you want a good drink ask for O. The convenience to the beach is brilliant. Straight walk onto the beach. The spa staff are so attentive. Would stay here again.

Our first time in Phuket and we couldn't have picked a better place to wind down at the end of our 2 weeks trip to Thailand. Literally as the title says, the place is beautiful with direct access to the beach and at a great location that was near enough to the happening areas but away enough to separate yourself from crowds. The beach was nice and calm, the room was perfect and the staff gave us quite a personalised experience. We wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely would come back again and 100% recommend to anyone from solo to family/ friends and even corporate trips.

We reserved private return transfers. They were great & on time. Checked into hotel at 8pm, Deluxe private pool room. Very nice, but there was no sea view which was disappointing considering that's what we paid for. The room was spotless, air con was a godsend. Room was cleaned every few days, very comfortable bed, decent size shower, but water pressure was rubbish. Buffet breakfast and evening meal was included in booking (inc. 1hr free drinks) which took out the need to find somewhere to eat each night. The breakfast and evening meals were absolutely fine. Plenty of choice, all very tasty, loads of fresh bbq meats and fish. Thai rice etc.. The staff were all wonderful, especially a young waiter called Jiew. He was a delight and looked after us great. Adults only pool was fab too, very peaceful, the pool bar waiter called 'Oh' was a legend. Beach in front of hotel was amazing, but not clean, with lots of plastic waste. I believe the hotel is European standard 4*, never 5*.

Absolutely beautiful resort, fantastic facilities and wonderful staff. Would definitely stay there again.
