Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket

We currently staying in the hotel and we both like it a lot. Excellent location for beach lovers as hotel has perfect seating. Lovely pool connected with huge garden and long stretch beach. All staff exceptionally nice and friendly. Always willing to help. Our room was sea and lagun view on first floor. Always clean with fresh bed sheets. We were very pleased as after travelling for over 20 hours we managed to get early check in which was blessing. Breakfast always nice. Typical English breakfast option but also a lot of Thai food from curry , rice , noodles, soup, till dim sum 🥟. Good choice for vegetarians as well. Good choice of bread and pastry ( banana cake very nice). We had couple of lunches by the pool and they were nice. Me and my partner both enjoyed happy hours in lobby between 7pm-8pm and live music. There is also couple of others restaurants which we haven’t tried yet. Hotel located less than 5 min walk to nearest shops and around 35 walk or 10 min by car to bigger town with local food. There is a lot of restaurants on the beach within 10 min walk to the left or right . Please learn on my mistake and don’t wear expensive sunglasses in the see as waves 🌊 will washed them off and you won’t find them. We both lost ours. Would definitely recommend this place. Suitable for families, couples, disabled .

We returned to the Dusit after 10 years to show our children where we got married. It was to see not much had changed but was disappointing to see so much work being done at the hotel which meant we couldn’t have breakfast in the usual restaurant. We stayed in one of the villas at the hotel which was lovely but didn’t have the turn down service any more which was also disappointing. Our bath was broken within the room but the staff did try and repair it when we complained. It’s a beautiful hotel with amazing staff but I do agree it is dated but I think it’s also very authentic to Thailand.

Good location, however very dated hotel.Pictures in magazines are definitely not accurate! Sea view obscured by hawkers, After the first morning awful breakfast with rancid butter , ate out the next 2 days even though included. Cockroaches in bedroom, shower & communal areas. Spoke with manageress about the possibility of leaving early but apparently this couldn’t be done. My son who lives in Thailand was shocked how poor it was especially when he found out what we paid !

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 nights at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. The biggest selling point I can make are the wonderful attentive, efficient and always smiling staff. Whilst the suite we had was very dated, dark and in need of upgrade, that is our only negative experience. From the GM to the beach & pool Team, they could not have done anymore to make our stay more enjoyable. Even watching the staff take genuine care of the more senior guests who needed that little bit of extra assistance was very humbling. The location is superb, the spa is understated and excellent and facilities in general are very good. Highlights for us are the Horizon bar staff, the Trattoria breakfast & afternoon tea Team and our housekeeping staff who looked after Suite 346 (19th -28th Feb25). Congratulations to the General Manager and all of the very well trained and attentive staff. Thank you for looking after us, you all should be very proud.

My stay at Dusit Thani Hotel in Phuket was awesome. The customer care skills of the General Manager, Samir, were evident throughout my visit. The staff care about their guests' well-being. They were incredibly helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience.
