The service from all the staff was impressive, professional and friendly . From our interactions, you could tell that they were great ambassadors for the hotel and were very focused on a positive guest experience. We would particularly like to mention Sonya and her team in the Horizon Lounge and they were indeed a fantastic team - working together seamlessly to give the best guest experience. They made our stay very special and were fantastic ambassadors for the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond for the guests. As a team, they were kind, supportive and worked so well together, whether they had been there for 20 days or 7 years. They are a great asset for the hotel.

Dusit Thani Laguna, Phuket is like heaven just on the beach. We spent two nights there in the month of October’24. The lounge and reception area were vast and very cozy. They welcomed us with authentic Thai hospitality and helped us a lot to get early check in which was much needed after an overnight journey. We were at sea view room, very spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. Room was very well maintained, with all modern facilities, bath amenities and a bathtub. They have a fantastic beachfront restaurant from where you can enjoy spectacular sunset in Andaman sea. The restaurant also arranges live music at night… overall ambience was super cool and romantic. The lawn was vast with a large pool. Evening views of the resort were just amazing. The breakfast spread was good though Indian and vegetarian options were relatively less. Overall is a very luxurious beachfront resort for vacations of any purpose.

The hotel is in a great location, backing onto a huge sandy, clean beach and with a small market/couple of restaurants outside the gate. The vibrant Boat Avenue area is approx £5 in a taxi where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was fabulous. It had two bathrooms, several outdoor spaces including a splash pool, a kitchenette and separate lounge. Facilities wise, probably the best room we’ve had as a family with teens! The hotel has a nice pool with a little slide for the kiddies and while we didn’t use it, appeared to have a good kids club offering. The hotel is being renovated which we were warned about. It does need a bit of a spruce up in places but this didn’t affect our stay. However there is some construction happening around the Laguna which did wake us up early a couple of times. We stayed bed and breakfast which also included afternoon tea. Breakfast was varied and fine in quality. The pool bar/room service offers reasonably priced pizza/sandwiches etc. We didn’t dine at the hotel in evening as plenty of offsite options but onsite restaurants not that compelling. They don’t need to be with lots of choice nearby. I had an excellent spa treatment. However this was expensive and extremely reasonably priced massages are available for £10 in the town. We were happy with our stay and for the price we paid think it’s a very solid choice.

If this was the only hotel we had experienced on our recent trip to Thailand we would have been so disappointed thankfully it wasn't! It was a great base on terms of location as we had friends in the area. There is so much construction work going on, yes yes hotels need updating but at no point did the hotel tell us or our travel agent. We were in a non renovated room .. balcony the size of a shoebox and yes it's big - so big our bed had to have two different duvets to cover it. Breakfast was average but as someone else has noted on a review you can't blame the hotel for the clientele and that's what really let this place down. Beautiful view of the lagoon but the pool area is disappointing due to the works. The lagoon area is lovely and the beach is great - loads of little huts where you can buy cheaper drinks than from hotel bar. Would definitely go back to the area very unlikely this hotel.
