Maikhao Dream Villa Resort & Spa

Maikhao Dream is very near to airport, it's only 15-20min. As our flight was late, We arrived at the villa pretty late, around 9pm, but we were still greeted by their friendly and helpful receptionist. Our return flight was early. We still have time to have our breakfast at 6.30am. The villa is a little old but facilities are still in good condition. We booked a 2 bedroom villa but were give a 3 bedroom villa with humongous bedrooms, living room and toilets, for my family of 5 with the 3rd room locked. They were generous with complimentary drinking water too. There is a deep pool with abt 1.7m and 1.2m deep pool at the 2nd storey. My boys enjoyed the facilities a lot. Pool and jacuzzi are just in front of the master room so can easily watch my kids playing. The resort is in front of Maikhao beach, it's quiet and very private. But no water sports. Morning waves is quite big. It has a nice view of sunset. Breakfast was pretty decent. We had 3 days of breakfast there and the staples were always different, the rest were pretty much the same. Overall, no complaints. In front of the breakfast dining hall, there's a main pool too. Parents can enjoy their breakfast while the kids are playing at the pool.

We had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend Dream Villa to anyone seeking a relaxed and calming holiday experience on the beach.

Stayed at the Villa. Villa was beautiful, nice layout with a private pool. Nothing negative on this front. However, signs of wear and tear were quite evident with upkeep of the premises lacking. If left unchecked, it will deteriorate further and may not be worth the value staying there in future. Doors misaligned, paint flaking off, furniture chipped etc. The private pool in the villa needs to be repaired badly. Mosaic tiles were missing and my friend's son and mine sustained a cut from the missing tiles. My wife and her friend visited the spa. Highly unprofessional. Air-con was not working well, room was hot and humid, no change of spa clothes, massage was expected to be done in own attire, no change of spa attire provided until demanded. Usually, pre-spa treatment would also entail a food wash or towels to freshen up. Nothing was provided. Service was no better than those street side massage establishments but yet have to pay premium price. Service by hotel staff was excellent. Staff were highly attentive and always ready with a greeting and smile. Issues were attended to promptly. This was the main saving grace. I would love to return on proviso some upgrades and repairs are carried out.

For me personally it was a great place to unwind and totally relax! The beach is a dream with incredible sun sets every day! There weren’t many people around so it was perfect; quiet and peaceful. The villas are gorgeous! With their own swimming pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended!

Excellent Service and Great Place to stay. The villa is right infront of the beach. Amazing and quiet beach compared to Patong or even kata beach. For families that like to unwind to get the peaceful vibe of the hotel. Spending qualty time with your love ones, this is the place to go.
