What a fantastic resort this was, the staff make it that bit extra special. Our Butler, Por, was a delight to have around and she made everything happen within minutes, no matter what it was. This place is exceptional value for money compared to similar standard hotels in other parts of the world.

What an exceptional stay and experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s commitment to impeccable service shone through. Every interaction was so warm, welcoming, professional and genuinely happy and uplifting, reflecting a culture that I haven't seen the likes of elsewhere - one that values guest satisfaction and happiness above all. The design of the hotel is breathtaking—an elegant blend of contemporary aesthetics, sustainability, natural wilderness and local charm. Each space felt thoughtfully curated, balancing luxury with comfort, and it was clear that no detail was overlooked. As for the food, it was simply divine. Each meal was a masterpiece, with a wide range of options showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared with creativity and finesse. Every bite was a delight, enhanced by the attentive yet unobtrusive service. Little touches, like personalised room amenities and staff remembering our names and preferences, elevated our stay to a new level. This hotel sets the bar for luxury accommodation and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. A true gem in the world of hospitality! Repeatable holiday experience at the Rosewood Phuket. Despite bad weather we still greatly enjoyed ourselves. Immaculate service and first class dining options. Nice sports facilities too (newly built padel) and the highlight for me was learning Muay Thai with Bear. I would recommend the resort for families or couples and would certainly consider going back again. Only issue is the bathtub is outdoors and not really useable in rainy weather.

Good resort especially when traveling with family. Food, service and spa was amazing! Some room for improvements : -Had the beachfront room. The room itself was amazing and homey. However when i arrived there were leaves at the outdoor seating areas , private pool as well as some trash right outside my private walkway to the beach. A plus point for them as they rectified it immediately but at a resort that boasts Aman as their competitor, it should not happen in the first place. -Breakfast came with my room but they only allow having it at the restaurant and not in the villa(the other option was to forfeit my free breakfast and reorder a new one as room service charge if I want to have breakfast in my villa). This is a first for me and again, should not happen at a resort of this caliber. Overall I would give it a solid 8/10 due to the amazing food, spa as well as the attentiveness of the housekeeping staffs.

We really loved the size of our villa for the price we paid, cleanliness, access to the beach, nighttime ambiance, and food quality! We also stayed at Amanpuri and the food quality here at the Rosewood made us prefer the Rosewood if we were coming back for a long stay. The beach area at the Amanpuri was better, and the lobby / pool / room decor at Amanpuri definitely felt a bit more 'elevated' but the food, butler, and huge villas at a great rate made us prefer the Rosewood for any stay longer than a night or two. The nice thing about the Rosewood over the Amanpuri with the beach though is that there is actual beachfront access for villas here at the Rosewood. You walk out and you're on the beach which was really nice in the mornings and at night for a stroll. What we think needs improvement to be a 10/10 stay: + For our beachfront pool villa, the pool was small, and the tiles made it look not very appealing. + The beach area at the Amanpuri was nicer. At Rosewood, lots of random people on the beach and the chairs from the hotel feel very removed from the beach. I think maybe remove the trees/plants separating the hotel from the beach and instead ensure staff keep non hotel guests away, so that at least when using the beach chairs it doesn't feel so separated. Also was more rocky here. Not sure what you can do about that though. However, the waves were not as rough as Amanpuri which was nicer here at the Rosewood and as mentioned you can walk in 10 seconds from your backdoor of the oceanfront villas to the beach. At night the resort is really gorgeous; they did a great job with lighting and little fires here and there. Restaurants were also very nice and diverse. Resort felt like they built it last year for the most part; it's very well maintained. We had a Butler, Tokyo, who was really really amazing. I think the best I've ever had. Thank you Tokyo! No greeting from a manager on arrival or departure which maybe Rosewood is not as much of a proper luxury chain as I thought? The resort was more or less empty as we arrived right before they were closing for renovations. Never saw a manager the entire stay, whereas at the Amanpuri we saw a manager like 5 times per day.... checking in on us at the bar, the lobby, on arrival, on checkout... Anyways. If we hadn't stayed at the Amanpuri we probably would have said 10/10 no notes, but I do think they are better here at the Rosewood in many ways, but lacking in a few others. You won't regret your stay at all and I definitely recommend to try the fritto misto at the bar which was our favorite!
