The Naka Island Resort & Spa

Great resort, very well kept and very relaxing. Booked the Naka guest room originally but upgraded to a pool villa. That was a great decision as the views were amazing and we could enjoy the quiet times by our own pool. The resorts has a great spa, good pool area and brilliant kids club. Staff is attentive and very professional. Great overall experience in our 6 night in the resort. I suggest kayaking to the mangroves.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful resort, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered incredible views. The amenities, especially the spa and pool, were top-notch, and the food was delicious. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. I can’t wait to return!

I spent a weekend at this wonderful resort with my mom, and the service there was incredibly amazing. The staff was super friendly and entertaining, especially Khun Melania at the front desk. I stayed in the villa which was surrounded by the nature. Once I entered the room, I saw the welcome decoration and a lovely note from Khun Lailacho. I also met her in person, and she recommended the activities at the resort for me. On our last day, I had breakfast at the restaurant, and the quality of the food was very good. I also met Khun Benjamin, who was very friendly and took the time to have a conversation with every table in the restaurant. I will definitely go back again.

In the beginning of februar 2025 we arrived in Naka Island. We knew thailand already from before but we didnt expect such a outstanding location. The crew of the hotel made our best vacation ever. Professionell and extraordinary frindly. Special thanks to Payu and Rock! 😊

Just a short taxi trip from HKT airport and a 10 mins speedboat ride from the shores of northern Phuket lies Naka Island - a heaven of tranquility & hospitality. Far away from the hustle & bustle of Phuket Town and Patong beach (but close enough if you wanna go there and mix with the tourist crowd), you can enjoy the beauty of Chalong Bay … by simply looking at it from your sunbed, or during standup paddling / kayaking (courtesy of the resort), or with a jet ski (available at the resort/3rd party contractor, 2000 TBH/30 minutes). If you want to be a bit more „sporty“ rent a courtesy bike, drive through the forest in the middle of the island, visit the small local village and arrive at the beach on the east side of the island (which is nice, but crowded with boat loads of day tourists and 50 jet skis). It nevertheless offers nice views over the sea and to Koh Yaka Noi. The Resort occupies the whole north of Naka Island, with beautiful villas (each with the own private garden & pool). We found the garden villas even more convenient than the seashore ones - they have shadow in the afternoon, which is soothing after a day on the beach. And even though called garden villa, ours (no. 15) offered a sea view through the trees - and that while waking up in the bed! The villas are spacious, main room with AC, huge bathroom, indoor & outdoor shower, private sala, two sunbeds, outside sofa, nice garden with birds & butterflies galore. You‘ll either walk a lot from villa to beach to Z-Bar to Restaurant(s) or to Spa - or you can call a buggy car any time. Speaking of the Spa: world class massages! We took two each and the girls really did it good, super relaxing. Plus, if you like, sauna or steam bath and an ice room (10 degrees Celsius, and you can rub yourself with ice cubes). What to eat? There‘s plenty! Breakfast is incredible, so much to chose from, egg & pho station, pancake station, hot Thai / Chinese / Malaysian / European dishes and all the cold things, salads, Joghurts and fruits you like. Plus a station dedicated to smoothies on demand, and even Champagne and Bloody Marys, as well as every variety of coffee and 15 different teas. A Thai, a Grill and a Caribbean/Asian Fusion Restaurant offer lunch & dinner. Being on full or half board, even room service would be included. Plus there’s the Z-Bar on the tip of the Island, offering also a range of snacks and a nice candle lighting sunset ceremony every day. The perfect place to watch the sunset over Phuket Mainland every evening. Nice small sandy beach (actually, a lagoon - no swimming during the low tide!) with comfy sunbeds. Huge infinity pool with direct view to the sea. But the biggest asset of the Resort is their personnel! From the concierge to the restaurant service teams, from the spa therapists to the housekeeping & gardeners - you‘ll always get a smile, a „good morning“ or a „good night“ (and once they find out about your nationality, they‘ll go the extra mile and greet you in your own language). They‘ll remember your name and make you feel welcome from day 1. Whatever you need, they‘ll make sure you get it (I even got fennel and anise seeds to calm my stomach problems), and if there’s a problem, just name it and it gets solved.
