About the Hotel

Perched high atop Cape Panwa, villas at Sri Panwa feel like tropical rainforest tree houses – on three sides, glass windows reveal a panoramic expanse of the Andaman Sea and a terrace infinity pool melts into the horizon. A white sand beach invites long lounging days at the bottom of the craggy hillside, while at the very top a sexy rooftop bar beckons with the perfect sundowner cocktail. If a postcard of paradise could be three dimensional, this is what it would look like.

Reviews for Sri Panwa

Wonderful views, incredible staff, amazing food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Our stay at Sri Panwa was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by lush, tropical beauty and exceptional service. The resort grounds are stunning, and the views from our room were simply breathtaking. Our villa was the Ocean View Penthouse Suite and it was massive, featuring a private pool that stretched the length of the room, a mini kitchen, a spacious living area, a comfortable bedroom, and a beautifully designed bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, well-decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches like easy light settings and in-room music. The breakfast was a true highlight, offering an incredible selection of international dishes alongside a gorgeous view. Getting around the resort was easy and fun with the tuk tuk transportation, which was fast and efficient—especially helpful given the hilly layout. Every meal and drink we had at the resort was outstanding. We loved sipping cocktails by the main pool (the fresh-cut coconut was such a treat!), and Baba Nest offered an unforgettable experience. Baba Iki was so fantastic that we dined there twice, enjoying both the Teppanyaki and the sushi bar. The "Speedy" espresso martini was a standout, and the staff even remembered our drink orders! Speaking of the staff—they were beyond wonderful. Thoughtful, welcoming, and always ready to help, they truly made our stay special. Tipping never felt expected but was always appreciated. The nearby 7-11 was handy for snacks, and the small nightly market just outside the resort had great street food and souvenirs. We stayed for three nights and wish we could have extended our trip—honestly, in a perfect world, we'd spend a couple of weeks here. We can’t wait to return!

Was absolutely terrible and I would recommend only telling someone you really don’t like to come here 😂

This was by far our worst stay in Thailand. We spent nearly 2200 dollars here for 4 nights on our honeymoon - upon arrival we were informed that the best location in the resort would be closed to us due to a wedding, along with that we were informed another one of the 4-5 restaurants would be closed during the entire duration of our trip. Without telling us at check in there would be yet another wedding taking place that would once again prevent us from using the nicest Amenities at the facility. We were prevented from enjoying our stay not one night but two nights of our $2200 dollar 4 night honeymoon stay. When I spoke to the front desk about my frustrations they told me they would wave the minimum amount I had to spend at one of the other bars 😂. This place is a complete joke - I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be ripped off. In all of my this is the worst customer service i have ever received. Was a huge disappointment for by far our most expensive stay during our time in Thailand. Also the food was terrible and 3 times more expensive then any restraunt 10 steps out of the hotel. Don’t waste your money here!

Luxury and Beauty Like No Other

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Sri Panwa is one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed in. The spacious rooms and breathtaking views of Phuket were unforgettable, but the private villa pool stole the show—it was large enough to fit a small family and offered unparalleled tranquility. This property combines luxury and sustainability with eco-conscious initiatives and thoughtful details. The friendly staff ensured every moment was special, making it perfect for families, couples, and solo travelers. Sri Panwa is the epitome of relaxation and indulgence. Highly recommended!

2025 EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Our recent stay at Sri Panwa Phuket over Christmas was a huge letdown. We had high expectations, especially since my son had stayed here five years ago and was impressed by the place. My wife and I also visited for lunch shortly after, and we thought it had potential. However, after spending five nights at the hotel, we left EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The food was a major issue. For a supposedly five-star hotel with hefty prices, the quality was very poor. Some menu items were unavailable or forgotten, and even when we placed orders, they didn’t arrive as expected. This was a consistent problem during our stay. The villa itself was clearly in need of urgent maintenance. The sinks barely worked, cupboard doors wouldn’t close properly, and the towels were very worn. My son had paid for a seven-night stay as a special treat for the family, but we all agreed that the experience was so bad that we couldn’t bear to stay any longer. After five nights, we checked out early, hoping for significant compensation, instead the senior management decided to offer very little. This experience has completely soured our perception of the Sri Panwa. I would not recommend it, especially if you’re expecting the standard of a high-end resort.

Resort not fit for a honeymoon.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We are really dissatisfied with the lack of customer service from Sri Panwa. We visited in November 2024 for our honeymoon and have made an official complaint based on the facilities available at the resort and despite chasing for a response numerous times from the general manager Suki Yu we haven’t heard anything and it’s been several weeks now. Considering the amount you charge per night we find it utterly disgraceful and frustrating that no one has responded yet!

The hotel is FANTASTIC with a beautiful setting, incredible food, and wonderful staff. Gym is modern and large. Spa is awesome. Swimming pool is also a lap pool. It is on its own little peninsula so is private and protected. All the rooms have great ocean views. Finally, I highly recommend the Mojitos – the best I have ever had, anywhere. We will definitely return.
