Thavorn Palm Beach Resort

Just got back to the UK from Thailand and I am missing the Thavorn Palm already. It’s an absolutely wonderful hotel. The location is perfect - literally through a gate, across the road on you’re on the beach (perfect for going to watch the incredible sunsets!), near to all the Karon shops and restaurants and just a short walk into Kata. What makes the hotel amazing are the beautiful grounds - the gardens are so lush and incredible and it really adds to the experience. The four pools kept our children busy and they loved the water slides and swim up bar. Great food onsite - breakfast was really nice. Also have to mention just how friendly and helpful all of the staff are - they were so good with our children and gave them lots of high-fives! Housekeeping were also fantastic at keeping our room spotless. We couldn’t have asked for more - thank you so much Thavorn Palm!

Great stay. Excellent food options with plenty of variety in and around the hotel itself. Staff were very friendly. Moo and Beam made us feel very welcome! There is also a massage place conveniently inside the hotel that is well priced. Recommended!

Absolutely love the stay!!!!!! The staff Aui, AA, Alime and the bar staff were so friendly and amazing, very accommodating!! Love the pool with swim up bar and the restaurants had incredible food!!!!! Love love love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have recently stayed at Thavorn The Palm for 5 nights. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The slides kept the children entertained for hours and there are lots of shallow pools for the younger children. The kids club was very clean and well maintained and petting zoo was brilliant. It is obvious the animals are very well kept. The hotel has several offers on food such as BOGOF on pizza at lunchtime and everytime bar has a different happy hour for drinks. There was a good variety of food at breakfast which was replenished quickly. Breakfast did get very busy around 8am meaning we had to sit indoors but there was always a table free. We also had the extra benefit of using the VIP lounge during our stay which served fruit, biscuits and drinks. We used the lounge daily and was great for the children. The beach is beautiful, very soft sand and clear water. There is a security guard that will see you back and forth the road as it is very busy. The hotel is in a great location and a short walk away from several restaurants. Whilst in a busy tourist area you do feel you are just on the outskirts which is very nice as quick enough to walk to but still very peaceful. The hotel gym was well maintained but felt a bit lacking in equipment although there is a perfect 5k running route directly out side the hotel on the beach side out and back. The WiFi is also a bit temperamental and drops out a lot. We had a great stay at the hotel and would definitely recommend to both adults and families.

We spent in Thavorn 10 days and it was amazing. All staff was very friendly and helpfull ( especially Mr.B.Boy - thank you). The garden is really beautiful, pools are not crowded, clean and water is warm. Breakfast is perfect, great choose of everything what you want. Large room with poll view, nice balcony, definitally recommend for staying when on Karon beach.
