A peaceful oasis with a beautiful courtyard.
When our shuttle dropped us off the other people who were going to different accommodations all commented on how disappointed they were because they weren’t staying at Itz’ana. Check in was easy, orientation was great and the surroundings erased the travel weariness immediately. Great service and food, lovely rooms and a lush pool, beach area almost made us want to stay in the resort and not take the convenient shuttle to explore the sidewalk. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Ask for Mark
We love this place. Great food and drinks. The jungle atmosphere is great as well. Our server Mark is a one of a kind personality and always offers the best service. We had him during our first visit in 2024 and we found him again on our last visit.

Beautiful resort in Palencia by the beach
Beautiful resort and very kind staff! Loved the pool area and beach. Could have used a hot tub though. 15 minutes taxi ride to downtown Palencia. We were in a small room, and there is not much privacy on the balcony, could hear our neighbors a lot.

We loved our experience here.
the accomodations here were beyond expectations. We needed a unit with a washer, dryer ,so they gave us a complimentary upgrade unit with a third bedroom which made our stay so much more comfortable as we had 5 people. The staff was very eager to meet our needs and worked hard to find the unit we needed. The beach was so well groomed and so beautiful. The grounds also were lovely and well cared for. we would definitely stay there again and do plan to go back to this amazing county. We loved the diverstiy of the people, who were without exception very friendly and outgoing.

Itz'ana hospitality
We had a lovely, relaxing five day stay at Itz'ana. The staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful. We felt so taken care of in the restaurant, around the pool, at the bar and by the house cleaning staff. Even Bob who raked the beach was friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
