Hotel Xcaret Arte

Arte is amazing! Casa Diseño rooftop pool cannot be beat! Even in bad weather it was THE best experience! We went to every rooftop pool offered but kept coming back to this one for the service! If you get Sheila as your pool butler or Rosie as your waitress you will go away happy with their sweet smiles and incredible service!!!

Restaurants, Bars and service were outstanding!! The food was an amazing experience starting from buffet all the way to Michelin star restaurant. My bed and pillows were soft and fluffy , ultra clean! Check in and check out were quick and easy. Friendly and helpful staff ! We had so much fun.

The hotel itself is fine but don't upgrade to Casa de​ la Artista! We upgraded for the last two nights and the perks are not worth it. The restaurant on the property itself is good enough and kibi kibi is not worth the extra so does the rooftop pool. Worst of all, when the room is transitioned, we were provided little instructions from our concierge, locked out of the old room, received no apologies, and then for 3.5 hours we have no room and access to our luggage. It's very annoying that we paid for four nights but for 3.5 hours we have no room to stay on property and little explanation to why. We wish that the management would have been more transparent with the gap or provide earlier check in time but instead we received neither. The wrist band was also not activated for three hours so we can't even go out and in in the particular exit efficiently and we got locked out for twenty minutes while our "butler" offered no help but to tell us to walk extra ten minutes to get in another exit. Is this a good property sure? But I don't understand why paying extra to upgrade is resulting in much worse experience. Management should reconsider the experience and make it more accommodating.

I had originally written a review on our 3rd day here and deleted it because I felt it was unfair to give a negative review without the full stay. We are leaving in the morning and I feel that I have experienced enough to write this review now. We will never come back and never recommend this hotel for many reasons. The concierge staff are not overly friendly or helpful. We were helped to our room by our “personal concierge” but he duped us into a time share presentation claiming it was a special meeting for their anniversary. We have also had technical problems and reservation issues that the concierge seems annoyed to help with The food is not good, we haven’t had a great meal here and even the buffets don’t have a ton of selection. We are currently on our last day and have been sick in our room for the past 24 hours. We don’t drink alcohol, and can pinpoint our issues to the Encanta restaurant. Honestly not worth it, be very careful what you eat here! Hotel Activities - the app hasn’t worked since we got here and there is no where else that the activities are posted. You have to walk to each casa everyday to find out what activities are happening and hope there is room for you. The more I research about food poisoning here, the more common I see it is. We travel to Mexico twice a year and stay in a mix of AI and standard hotels. We have never been as sick as we are now. I gave 2 stars for the grounds and parks because they are as advertised. Everything else has been a huge disappointment for the premium you pay to stay here.

From the time you enter to the time you leave everyone is super helpful and friendly. I loved every minute.the rooms are beautiful and clean they clean everything every day in side and out. The only thing if you live your desserts as a celiac person they don't have much. But I lived with it as everything else was beyond perfect.loved the place for sure going back
