Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya

Me and my husband took a last minute trip for 3 nights to Mexico without the kids and decided to stay at this hotel. We go to Mexico at least a couple of times a year and have stayed at many upscale adults only as well as family resorts during this time and I have to say this was the best hotel we have stayed at in Mexico so far. The service, good and rooms were outstanding. We were in a suite which was huge with a balcony and the outdoor shower was a great addition. They connect you with a host and that’s your point of contact during the stay. You don’t have to sit in the lobby for check in as they take you in to your room and check you in there which is so convenient and efficient . It was windy during that time so we couldn’t go to the beach one day but that’s not the hotels fault. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the exceptional service and plan on returning with the kids soon. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a calm, relaxing vacation.

Absolutely phenomenal stay. We have HIGH expectations and this resort did NOT disappoint. The property was impeccably maintained, the staff was kind and attentive and the spa top notch! Now with all of that said, Xiomara(Z) at Bambuco and our 2 butlers (both named Omar!) really took it over the top for us. We literally went to the bar looking to hang out with Z every evening! Anything we asked either Omar, the answer was always yes!!! The GM, Stephan made it his business to come and check on your stay. Just top notch attentiveness. Can’t leave out Cherise at Freddy’s who always kept it fun with the drinks flowing. Try dinner at Casa Mayor, Rogelio and Alfonso took such good care of us on several days! Just go. If you are hesitant, stop worrying, just go. Trust us, it’s worth every dime!

Karina Tagliarini (Group Sales Manager) introduced me to this property while at a wedding industry conference. The ease of booking, touring, and the nestled in a world of its own made me want to experience it for myself. In my personal stay experience, from the moment you are greeted, you feel you have permission to soak it all in. They leave no stone unturned, and you may choose your journey for your stay from the onset. Francine was knowledgeable and energy-matching. By the time I settled into my superb beachfront accommodations, my spa treatment, dinner reservations, and pillow orders were sealed. This property is lovely for a night or a wedding weekend. You and your guest will thank you for years to come.

Our third visit (first since the remodeling) didn't disappoint. Beautiful rooms, superbly maintained grounds, very attentive and well-trained staff. Stand-out meals at Woodend, Freddy's Bar and Bambuco. Just another wonderful resort in the Belmond portfolio.

Excellent in every way. We returned after many years and incredibly impressed by the upgrades to rooms and common areas. Staff top notch (kudos to management) always kind and attentive. Excellent food and dining experience. We are already planning our next visit.
