Amazing Experience at Hyatt Playa Del Carmen
We loved our stay at Hyatt Centric in Playa Del Carmen. Lounge chairs by the pool overlooking the Ocean is a very nice feature. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Balcony was roomy and comfortable with good furniture. View from room and Balcony was fantastic.

Good Hyatt Centric!
Excellent hotel with access to a beach house property. 1. Earplugs are essential for a good night’s sleep, but once you wear them, noise isn’t an issue. 2. WiFi is decent—good enough for remote work, though it occasionally drops. 3. Management should update the Google Maps pin to correctly show the entrance, as the current location is causing confusion for drivers picking up guests. 4. The Globalist breakfast is underwhelming, with only one main course allowed and no add-ons like extra protein. 5. For Globalist upgrades, if you book a room in the main house, they will only upgrade you within the main house and not to the beach house property.

Average Stay with Room for Improvement
The location is great with easy access to the beach and local attractions, but cleanliness could be improved. The amenities were decent, yet I felt the staff could have been more attentive. Overall, it’s an average stay, but I expected a bit more for the price.

Won't Stay anywhere else in Playa Del Carmen!
The service, staff, cleanliness, and location at the newly rebranded Hyatt Centric exceeded my high expectations. Getting off property and experiencing the local culture is the exact reason I do NOT prefer all-inclusive properties, the Hyatt Centric checked all my boxes!

Not great...not terrible...
There was a party on the roof until 2am that made it so we could not sleep. The elevators were not working so kept getting stuck in them and could not get to our floor. The restaurant on the roof has a nice view and the food is ok. Coffee is not great. Staff was friendly but overall the experience was not good.
