In the past, you might have hopped the Concorde to walk among the lily-filled ponds and gardens immortalized in Claude Monet’s Impressionist paintings. Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills saves guests the jet lag and adds a touch of time travel, too. This Old World-style manor house feels like it was transported from the countryside just outside of Paris, where stone fences and warm architectural details are bathed in soft, amiable light. There are just 16 guest rooms in the manor house, including two fairytale turret suites, and all are outfitted with a cozy fireplace and oversized French-style soaking tub. In the converted 19th century Family Chapel, Henri-Marie restaurant preserves an upscale Art Deco ambiance, while a more casual bistro serves up 1930s-style cocktails.

My friend and I had a fabulous two days. It's not an inexpensive getaway but well worth the price. Staff is excellent and very attentive. Every detail is thought about - from the prosecco upon arrival, to a lavender spray and face mask in our room, to the chocolates on our pillow at turn down, we had a fantastic, relaxing time. We loved our dinner and our treatments. Also short walking distance to The Market shops, The Blueberry Muffin restaurant and some other restaurants and stores.

Lovely property and helpful staff, great linens, amenities, and bed made up for the awkward small room and Apple TV. The bathroom had no separate door for the commode, the lighting in the very small room # 120 was abysmal and the overstuffed uncomfortable chairs made the room less than appealing. Special kudos to Karen in the dining room. For over 500.00 per night, you may want to go to the room you are assigned and decide then whether to accept it.

Lovely Inn and wonderful spa, but I would avoid the Bistro restaurant based on the food and service we experienced and ditto for the Aqua Terrace. The drinks are lovely but the prepackaged food is not. The Rye Tavern nearby is a GREAT option for dinner! PS - Make your spa reservations early - it's even busy on weekdays!

They came in our room and violated our privacy. Not cool. The staff did not take our concerns seriously, the manager AND the owner brushed us off like we did not matter. They did not seem to know how to handle the matter. They need to take the concerns of their customers seriously.

I am deeply disappointed with the wedding services provided by Mirbeau Inn & Spa. Despite being a small wedding with only 17 guests, the lack of attention to detail, responsibility, and oversight left much to be desired. The Mirbeau wedding Planner was MIA from the very beginning, creating an event that was chaotic, mismanaged, and a miserable failure. My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was disappointing at best. I hope our experience will serve as a cautionary tale for others considering this venue for their special event. These issues and other vital failures significantly marred what should have been an occasion to remember fondly. It was anything but that. I would strongly caution others NOT to consider Mirbeau Inn & Spa for any important event to create a happy memory. The lack of attention to detail and professionalism is unacceptable on every level. Additionally, the manager never accepted responsibility for the failures despite many staff members being aware of and acknowledging Mirbeau's lack of attention, detail, and management. Multiple Mirbeau employees were embarrassed and wanted to correct what went wrong. They were not empowered to do so. The failure on the part of the Mirbeau was most disappointing, especially when the manager gaslighted the bride, groom, and her parents the day after the wedding when they met to discuss the issues. I followed up the day after the wedding, spoke to the manager to express my displeasure, and told her about my concerns and disappointment in managing our event. In addition to everything else that went wrong, which was immense, the floors were filthy. The managers' response was dismissive. She responded by claiming that their floors were clean. This was not the case, as one guest's bare feet were black as coal after removing her shoes to dance. Furthermore, I was not given a welcome bag upon arrival, and when I inquired about it, there was no follow-up as was promised. This incident raises serious questions about Mirbeau Inn & Spa's overall cleanliness and hygiene standards. The manager's lack of attention to detail and refusal to acknowledge our concerns demonstrate a complete disregard for the bride, groom, and their guests. I urge others to be cautious when considering Mirbeau Inn & Spa for their special events. Their promises of a flawless experience grossly misrepresented their actual services and what they delivered.
