The hotel was beautiful and everything was perfect during our stay. Every single staff member was very kind and helpful. We ate breakfast each morning and the food and service was excellent. We had dinner one night in the Bestro. It was an amazing experience. The food there was awesome as well! Before we left the hotel, Caterina gave us a personal tour of the main hotel/palace. She also told us how to book rooms directly with the hotel in the future. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Bela Vista hotel in the near future. Thank you for making our stay so perfect! John and Sheila Eller

My sisters and I went for a spa weekend on the off season as a relaxed 'bachelorette' weekend. The interiors of the hotel are stunning and as it was off season and there were not many guests we were given a bit of a tour around the place and insight into the hotel's history, as well as a peek in their best suite with its insane bathroom. While the rest of the beach is very noisy with rowdy party goers even in the off season, the hotel was a lovely reprieve from this, with the poolside seating in nice and private allowing us to chill out and read. The spa was really relaxing, we had a full spa treatment, staggered one by one... I love I'Occitane products so a spa that uses them was so very lovely. We were the only ones at the spa at the time so the steam/sauna/ wet relaxation room seemed huge and cavernous. The massages after the baths & body scrubs in particular were great, as were the facials. I would definitely go back to the hotel just for the spa alone. We did the tasting menu one night at Vista which was excellent, every last bite was a wonderful food journey to be remembered. I particularly liked the bar staff who made us cocktails just using a few words we used to describe the things we liked drinking. Though it is expensive it was worth every penny, we were so stressed and exhausted from work and wedding planning this was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend for the bride before going back to London for her hectic whirlwind wedding weekend.

We had the unfortunate experience staying at the Hotel Bela Vista this Summer. While the pool is spectacular, the hotel is not what it looks like in the online photos. It is behind gates on the busiest block in the town, we party goers heckling and boozing till all hours of the night. We didn't catch a wink of sleep for our entire stay. And quite frankly, were concerned about our safety given the location and the crowds.

Bela Vista is truly a wonderful hotel. The level of detail from service to food and facilities is special. The service team in all areas is exceptional and the Michelin star dinner experience is fantastic. I would recommend possibly changing the desert (cactus) step. It was good but in my mind not quite on par with the rest of the meal. I saw some reviews prior to the visit about the surrounding area and yes, it is a more common tourist area but once you enter Bela Vista, it all chances. Overall, an excellent experience.
