excellent IT service by Engineer Dean who helped to resolve an IT connectivity issue. Dean was prompt, efficient, courteous and pleasant. Also front desk made a requested room change. Staff very friendly, and library is a great place to do work.

If you are looking for a relaxing classy hotel in the heart of Portland, Oregon look no more! The charm of the library with over 3,000 signed copies from the authors, the fabulous customer service, the well stocked impeccable rooms are absolutely worth a visit if only for one night. Dylan, at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming! And a must is having dinner at The Tavern! Highly recommend this charming classy hotel!!

Great experience, amazing staff. Great for an adult unwind close to dining, shopping and performance venues. We stayed two nights in a corner view suite with 2 bathrooms and a spacious layout. The views did not disappoint and the room was well appointed but not overly fussy. Very nice stay! Tip: leave room in your plans to hang out in the library and enjoy the amazing fireplace in a cozy velvet high backed chair.

The fireplace in the library was a cozy spot to spend time with my daughter between enjoying the holiday shows at the Newmark and Shnitzer, holiday shopping and meeting friends discovering new restaurants. Downtown is looking good Portland, and the Heathman has been holding it down well.!
