We had a wonderful stay at the Belmond Romazzino. The location is great and close to the hiking trails nearby which lead to some beautiful beaches. The fitness center was great as was the service. I would recommend but just be aware that the prices for food are very high. I have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world and this is the most expensive drink and food prices I have ever seen. Needless to say there are better food options off site for much better prices.

Came to the hotel for a drink and to see if it would be worth staying in after having the most incredible wedding a few days prior at Belmond Splendido. As I entered the pool bar and asked for a coke the waiter (possibly manager) responded ‘are you a guest?’, ‘no’, ‘are you aware coca colas here are €10?’ Not only is this place totally overpriced (which the waiter seems to agree with) but it is totally run down and more reflective of a 3 star hotel. I think Belmond must be spelled wrong at the entrance as this is nowhere near the standard of other belmond hotels and surely is just damaging their otherwise incredible brand. The worst part is the insinuation from the waiter that we could not afford a €10 coke. Very unprofessional, ill-mannered and totally rude. Not a fair reflection of wider Belmond service we have experienced at their other hotels. Left feeling so pleased we hadn’t spent several thousand a night on this hotel that appeared to be max €300-€500 per night.

We spent a LOT of time researching where we would stay for the end of our trip in Sardinia. We wanted somewhere luxurious that also delivered on value for money without just feeling needlessly expensive. We were drawn to the history and gorgeous grounds of Romazzino and it really was amazing. The staff here is incredibly attentive and really lovely. The beach location is one of the best in the area. The rooms were all incredibly comfortable and we loved all the special touches by housekeeping during turndown. The concierge was incredibly helpful in providing information pre-arrival about excursion options for our stay - we took two lovely boat trips with one of their recommended providers (Blue Dreams Sardinia). My only complaint would be the dinner options and offerings onsite. We were staying at the end of the season and the property elected to close one of their two dinner options (the beachside restaurant Entu E Mari) prematurely. We were looking forward to eating onsite for the majority of the stay; however, our dinner at the one remaining restaurant was very lackluster. I would definitely recommend staying here; however, with the plethora of excellent (and definitely better) dining options in the nearby area, it would be advised to make offsite bookings if you are staying for several nights. That said, the sunsets and cocktails/snacks at Ginepro cannot be missed!

This property is absolutely fantastic! Everything there is so beautiful! I understand they are going to do a remodel, but I cannot imagine on what! But it’s the staff that truly make this place, (as well as the location). Fabulous service was always provided by the most friendly people. Beach area is so relaxing and with beach service. The little touches with handwritten notes and gifts each night was so super special! They use fabulous products, have the most comfortable mattress, linens, and towels that I have seen at a property in a long time. And they just pay attention to so many details! The only area of improvement, would be to adjust the food and beverage prices a little…now we never mind paying top dollar, (or wouldn’t stay at a Belmond property:), as the service and quality is all there, it’s just about 5 to 8 euros too much on f&b items. So highly recommend anyone to stay here for a relaxing, beautiful grounds, top quality service, vacation.

The view and beautiful ocean can only do so much. I had multiple issues with my food allergy here with the front desk even joking as I sat down that their welcome drink had nuts as I drank it. This put me on edge the whole trip. Because of this my wife and I got room service one night, in the middle of our meal in our robes a man walked into our room without knocking to drop of some local crackers. Just walked right in. While the bar , pool and beach staff were great I was highly disappointed with the front of house staff. Also I have stayed at hotels around the world and I’m sorry but 15 euro Coca Cola is criminal.
