Andaz Prague

Always amazed by this jewel at the very center of Prague. Staff amazing, super friendly always with a smile and a positive attitude. Keep doing a great job, special thnx to Gabriel who has helped us with our parking, charging and not only. It feels like home. Thank you to the entire Andaz team

We've been here for 4 nights and leave tomorrow, I can't wait. Last night we came back from dinner and decided to have a glass of wine. There was a man sitting next to us having a loud FaceTime conversation. I asked him if he could use his headphones. He said he didn't have any and continued. When he hung up, he started screaming at me and my husband. I asked security to be called as the waitstaff couldn't seem to calm him down. Security said he was fine and let him continue to sit next to us. This time he got up and started to shove my husband, I ran to the front desk and asked for police. They came and never spoke to us but allowed this drunk man to stay in the bar and continue to scream obscenities at us despite families and young children being present. We also said that the hotel would not do anything to him as he had 4 rooms upstairs and ran security. He threatened to kill us. I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many hotels. This was unnerving. We pushed out table a few chairs over to the door to block him if he did try to get into our room and kill us.

We enjoyed our stay at Andaz Prague. The hotel reached out before our stay to provide recommendations should we need them. I appreciated that extra personal attention from Andaz, which continued through our stay with them. Our room was updated, spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had good water pressure. The hotel had a good variety of breakfast options. The chicken and waffles as well as the brioche French toast were awesome.

Great experience at Andaz Prague. We extended our Prague tour by two days to experience the Andaz Prague hotel. The check in at the front desk was excellent. We had the great pleasure of being able to speak in our native language, Czech-Slovak. We loved our room 523 with a view of the tower. Since we are experienced and demanding travelers for service and professionalism, the restaurant Zem was recommended to us by the nice receptionist. She promptly made us a reservation for Friday night. We were hosted by Anezka and her professionalism, food recommendations were great. Chef Libor leads his team superbly and there is honesty, originality and tradition in the taste of the food. A unique taste experience. Upon each return to the room, the room was meticulously cleaned and ready for rest. Breakfasts are another enjoyable affair. Great food and service. Hotel Andaz Prague has become for us a safe, original place for our travels. Sincerely and respectfully, Mr. Lubomir and Mr. Libor.

We had a great few days at the Andaz Prague. The staff were helpful and courteous throughout and a real credit to the hotel. Service in the bar and restaurant were equally great. The lobby and bar were interestingly decorated, comfortable and modern but with a real sense of individuality appropriate the historic building. We stayed in an Andaz Suite, incredibly spacious, nicely furnished and on the whole it worked very well. The only odd choice was the lack of closet/wardrobe space. Cases and clothing were stored near the entrance to the suite, and a long way from the bedroom and bathroom which was a bit impractical simply because the suite was so large!. To be fair, the layout maximized the use of space in the constraints existing building fabric so it's a minor quibble. The hotel is located a short walk from the historic town and major sights. and has a tram stop right outside the rear entrance. Getting around to everything we wanted to see was a breeze. Overall we were extremely impressed with the Andaz, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a great five star hotel.
