Truly phenomenal experience. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and the hotel was well worth it. The staff is extraordinarily attentive and even loaned me a suit jacket for impromptu opera tickets. The rooms are beautifully designed and extremely comfortable, with excellent views of Prague Castle. The hotel’s location is secluded adding to the relaxing atmosphere, yet is centrally located and only a quick walk from many of the city’s most famous locations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique luxury experience in Prague!

Visiting the Christmas markets but wanting to be a bit away from the rush of people over the holidays, we booked into The Augustine. What a treat! A bit off the beaten track but quite close to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, the hotel was wonderful. The team at the front desk and the concierge desk were always able to answer questions and give recommendations. And the holiday treats table (cookies, hot wine, chocolate) that they put out over the weekend was amazing. Best of all, after a day of visiting the sites and being a part of the crowds, the room was quiet and more than comfortable. Highly recommended!

The staff at the property is amazing. They greeted us warmly upon arrival, and insisted they deliver our bags to our room. The hotel was formerly a monastery, with the monks still living in a separate building of the property. The architecture and design of the hotel are exquisite and represent elements of the former monastery throughout the property. A must-stay in Prague.

Really great for a couple’s Christmas trip. The building has a lot of character as a former medieval monastery. They offer a black beer that’s based on the monk’s 14th century recipe and it’s superb. Every meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner - was excellent. The staff is A+. I don’t know where they find these people but I never experienced hospitality at such a high level. They were really helpful with food allergies. We celebrated a birthday here and they brought us a cake, took a photo, and then turned the photo into a handwritten birthday card! They were always dropping off snacks and drinks at the room, including a really beautiful Christmas cake. I never asked for or expected any of the attention but they were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Visited in December 2024 and it’s become one of my favourite Marriott hotels. Was offered a free upgrade to a deluxe room due to Marriott status and the room was much better than expected. Bathroom was big with underfloor heating and the room was warm and cosy. Toiletries were from Byredo. Check in was seamless with the front desk being very friendly. Location : Short walk to Charles Bridge which then leads you into Old Town where you can see the sights and also Christmas Markets. Breakfast at the Augustine Restaurant was one of the highlights of the hotel- with good choices of both food and drinks. Ordered the English breakfast which was very good. Would definitely visit again.
