Amazing hotel and super close to everything! 5 mins to the castle and 15mins to the Charles Bridge!! This is a perfect choice when staying in Prague for two or three nights!! Great breakfast and quiet location for a great nights sleep! Booked through BA for such a good deal!!

Small, intimate well designed hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I have lived in Prague for 16 years and as I was leaving the Czech Republic I had moved out of my flat and decided to treat myself to a few nights in a hotel before I left. In the early 90’s I had also lived in Prague and my flat was on the street of this hotel and always loved this neighbourhood so it felt like a good choice. The hotel could not be any closer to the Castle and there are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel is an intimate small gem of about 42 rooms and if you look at the front of the hotel you would never be able to imagine there could be so many rooms. All different in design. Mine faced the street which I enjoyed but I suspect any room will have been designed in a very thoughtful way with all necessary amenities. There is a small but ample breakfast area and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. If and when I return to Prague as a tourist I would happily stay there again and will recommend it to friends and colleagues. Although I just recently lived in the Vinohrady area of Prague I also lived for many years a block from Old Town Square and depending on when you visit Prague that area is so heavily trafficked with tourists that to stay in another area of Prague 1 that is touristy during the day but quiet at night was a perfect choice for me.

Comfortable, convenient location, friendly staff

A very comfortable stay, friendly staff, super clean room. Very central location. The breakfast is varied and generous and the staff made me a vegan option each day. The location is very close to Prague Castle. Only small downside was our room looked out onto a courtyard so no view except of other windows.

Beautiful Hotel perfectly located for a city break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

We got off to a rocky start, but as it was no one’s fault and we were well taken care of afterwards, I believe the Neruda team (and hotel) deserve 5 stars. The hotel is perfectly located to go to both the city centre and Prague Castle. The room was beautifully clean and spacious. The breakfast was varied and very substantial. I would say keep an eye out for the hotel on the street as the name isn’t that easy to see and there is nothing written on the door. We walked up and down past it several times 😃. Also, on Sunday we were down for breakfast at 9.50am (breakfast finishes at 10.30am) and there was nothing left in the hot buffet trays. A lady told us to wait as there were refills on the way. We were waiting patiently when other guests joined us to wait for some hot options. The young waitress brought out just four eggs, to which all of us were quite surprised. She told us very abruptly that we should have come down earlier. I must say, I didn’t really appreciate being scolded by a member of staff for not getting up earlier on a Sunday, while I was on holiday, with a body clock that was still very far behind Czech time. Again, I still believe the hotel merits 5 stars as I put this surprising reaction down to inexperience. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Prague. We adored the city and will definitely be going back. We will be booking a room here again.
