Reviews for La Ballerina Hotel

The most horrible accommodation experience which I ever had

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Firstly, the hotel doesn’t exist nowadays, you can check Google comments. To me, it’s definitely cheating. Secondly, when I finally found it, I just noticed that there’s no reception; instead, it said that you’ll have the passcode after you complete the online check-in. However, I hadn’t received any check-in mails beforehand, therefore, what I could do was standing at the door, WhatsApped the customer service, and kept waiting. 26 minutes later, I finally got someone to help while she said that why I hadn’t received the check-in form was because I booked the room via a third party portal - Hotel.com. But wait - in that case, why it sold its rooms via these external portals? Thirdly, the hanger of shower fell apart on the second day in the morning. After I raised this issue, the agent said that it will be fixed; however, it was still there when I came back in the evening, which led to the result that I got to raise the issue to the agent again while the agent didn’t explain what exactly happened to the delay. Lastly, no one will clean up the room during your stay unless you pay extra fees, you even got to take clean towels back to your room by yourself. Anyway, if you’re looking for horrible accommodation experience, this is the best choice.

Avoid Numa Stays/ Flow company

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Do not use this company! We’ve booked an apartment in Prague with Numa stays / Flow through Airbnb. Just like many other customers we received an email from Numa less than 24h before check-in time to inform us they no longer manage the property. They offered us an unsuitable, property as an alternative which we refused. They tried to make us cancel our reservation in attempt to avoid a negative review. Had they cancelled, as they should have, we would be able to review them. We refused to cancel as we weren’t at fault and contacted Airbnb instead. Airbnb agreed Numa / Flow are at fault and attempted to contact them. Numa / Flow of course would not answer any calls or emails from Airbnb in order to avoid being forced to cancel. Again, this is a game Numa/Flow play frequently in order to avoid negative reviews. If they cannot be contacted, Airbnb will cancel booking on their behalf. This, however, removes an option for customers to write a review. And this is how Numa stays/ Flow gets away with false advertising and misleading people without getting as many negative ratings as they should / deserve. Please avoid or do your research. You will find there’s a pattern how this company operates. They rely on people giving up or not bothering to review elsewhere.

four night stay as a tourist

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

Just returned from a four night stay here. This is my second stay at a Numa property, having previously stayed at Numa Arc in Berlin last year. The room was really spacious, clean, modern and well equipped, with some snacks, tea and coffee in the room on arrival. I was able to get into the room early which was appreciated given my early flight. It's in a nice quiet spot but within walking distance of many attractions and very close to tram and bus stops which take you all over the city. Big Bus tour busses stop at the Dancing House until 1:45pm and I was also able to take a bus direct to the airport at 4:07 this morning from Jiraskuv most. There is a Metro stop nearby too. There is an Italian restaurant directly underneath the hotel and other restaurants, bars and shops a very short walk away. Luggage lockers are available which could be handy, there's also a small laundry room if you need to wash some clothes. Hard to fault this place especially at the price I paid.

Stylish and conveniently located

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 months ago

The apartments are perfectly located (Metro B close by) and have been tastefully furnished and well equipped. (I could not find a iron and ironing board though.) I did. It use the balcony as it was facing the road and a bit dirty. Breakfast service worked well. However, the service did not satisfy me. The ceiling in my bathroom looked horrible after a leak, and all maintenance said was, it does not leak any more. When I asked to be changed to another room, the response was always, you have been automatically assigned, and we are fully booked. However, it did not really feel like the place was fully booked. Also, the door cannot be locked from inside, and the floor looks very used.

Scammed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed August 18, 2023

I booked accomodation at La Ballerina for $620 through Sky Emirates Hotel. Little did I know that La Ballerina doesn't exist. I called the listed phone number multiple times and either didn't get an answer, or was rudely hung up on. I later discovered that La Ballerina is now called Numa. I couldn't get in touch with Numa. I asked Sky Emirates to give me Numa's contact details, but was given the email address for La Ballerina, who again, don't exist anymore. Nonetheless, I sent them an email, and got no response. After this, Sky Emirates could no longer help. I was considered a "No Show", because the hotel is permanently closed. Never again!
