Vienna House Andel's Prague

S kamarádem jsme opět vyrazili na třídenní pobyt do Prahy, a ubytovali se opět v hotelu, kde jsme před cca dvěma lety bydleli a byli spokojeni. Vše bylo opět skvělé, už od začátku jsme cítili milou atmosféru na recepci, kde bylo hezké přivítání. Pokoj byl zcela v pořádku, snídaně byla fantastická !! (domácí kombucha, velmi pestrá nabídka slaných i sladkých dobrot, včetně domácích limonád). Naprosto nečekaným překvapením ovšem bylo, když jsme na pokoji – při druhém dni pobytu, nalezli malý dárek a přání všeho nejlepšího pro mého kamaráda – měl ten den narozeniny (což jsme ale ani nikde nezmiňovali). Přání bylo navíc osobně podepsáno paní ředitelkou hotelu. Jak milé ! Tento hotel (a zejména jeho zaměstnance) jsme si prostě zamilovali. Nedělají jen svoji práci, ale zdá se mi, že žijí tím, že jejich péče o hosty převyšuje standardy, na které jsme zvyklí. Mockrát děkujeme za hezký pobyt a při příští návštěvě Prahy rozhodně opět zavítáme sem. Viliam & John ***** My friend and I went to Prague again for a three-day stay, and stayed again in the hotel, where we stayed about two years ago and were satisfied. Everything was great again, right from the beginning we felt a nice atmosphere at the reception, where there was a nice welcome. The room was completely fine, the breakfast was fantastic!! (homemade kombucha, a very varied selection of salty and sweet food, including homemade lemonades). However, a completely unexpected surprise was, when we found a small gift and best wishes for my friend in the room - on the second day of our stay - it was his birthday at that day (but we didn't mention it anywhere). In addition, the wish was personally signed by the director of the hotel. How nice! We just fell in love with this hotel (and especially its staff). Not only they do their job, but it seems to me that they live by their guest care exceeding the standards we are used to. Thank you very much for a nice stay and we will definitely come here again the next time we visit Prague. Viliam & John

I stayed here for 2 nights. I booked directly with the hotel and got nice price. The room was modern, clean, and well-designed, with comfortable bedding and a spacious bathroom. The free Wi-Fi was fast. The room was quiet, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food exceeded my expectations. A fantastic start to the day! Definitely will come back!!!

We simply love this hotel. Great location, ch-in/ch-out went smooth and fast. Room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with huge choice. What is amazing hotel has its own bees and you can try honey for breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful, made us to feel welcome.

We do an annual company conference/meeting in this hotel and were always very happy with all arrangements. Nice convenient position, modern well run hotel, very friendly staff always happy to help. A nice restaurant also available. We do come back every year.

They tried to charge us for breakfast separately. The receptionist who attended us the night we arrived was a disaster. Zero human quality, totally out of place in her way of communicating with us, rude, providing little and wrong information. Instead of creating a pleasant stay, she did nothing but argue with us and try to get us to pay more than necessary. A lack of respect and bad attitude on her part. She tried to charge us additional taxes when we had already paid them on Booking, and they were included in the price we were paying. She also tried to charge us double for parking compared to what Booking stated. She gave us a room that wasn’t what we had booked, and when we complained, she did so unwillingly. Instead of apologizing and offering us a free upgrade for the inconvenience of having to carry our luggage back and forth, she made us pay the difference, as this upgrade would include 50% off parking, plus free drinks and snacks from 5 to 7 PM every day, information that this receptionist didn’t even provide to us, not even as an attempt to sell us the difference for the executive room. This information was not available on the Booking page. We found out when we complained that the room wasn’t the same as the one in the photos, as we had paid for a double suite to have a bathtub and were given a regular room with just a shower. Later, thanks to our complaint, we also found out that the executive room included 2 hours of free spa, free snacks and drinks, and a coffee machine in the room. The minibar is supposedly included, but that’s not true; they charge you for anything you consume. Despite having paid for parking, and the receptionist telling us we could leave the car until the evening, the receptionist on the next shift the following day tried to charge us for the difference because our card was blocked, and we couldn’t leave with the car. A total disaster with the poor communication among the hotel employees and their lack of willingness.
