Great hotel, personnell and location

Amazing week spent at Vienna House with our group. The rooms are modern and cozy, the breakfast buffet large and full of creative elemts (Czech foods, probiotics, smoothie shots etc.) besides the regular spread. Most importantly however all employees were super friendly, especially the front office. Linda the FOM was amazing ahead of the event and during our stay helping with all our groups small organizational requests, being super responsive and flexble. I wholeheartadly recommed this hotel and its largest assets-its personnell.

Overall a good stay, Good value

The rooms are a reasonable size as is the bathroom. All very modern with good sleep comfort. The service is efficient and friendly. I also have praise for their eco-friendly attitude, with fresh water to refill you bottle on every floor, composting their coffee grounds, and the option to decline room cleaning and towel swaps if not needed. Three speedy elevators, tea kettle and minibar in the room. Limited English language changes on the telly. The breakfast really was great with a large buffet of bread, meats, cheeses, Czech specialties, salads, beans, hot sausages, scrambled and poached eggs. Some fresh fruit available. The only downside is the distance from the center of town and the castle, though tram stops are nearby. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Not for celiacs

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

I recently stayed for 8 nights at this hotel through a Voyage Privé offer. I do not know the actual room rates, but considering the package price, the value for money was excellent. The double room was well equipped, with a coffee machine and complimentary capsules. Guests also have access to a complimentary happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. on the floor (with drinks and light snacks), as well as a dispenser with water and a machine for coffee, cappuccino, tea, etc. My booking also included two hours of free gym access and complimentary room service. Housekeeping is carried out daily, which is appreciated, though at times the cleaning could have been more thorough—for example, it was possible to find hair in the bathroom or small crumbs on the floor. This is a minor detail, but one that can affect the overall impression. The staff were always very kind and helpful. However, the main weakness of this hotel is the gluten-free breakfast. While the breakfast room offers a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes, the gluten-free corner is almost nonexistent, limited, and unfortunately exposed to cross-contamination. The only bread available (sandwich bread and seeded bread) was placed in the middle of the regular bread section, with shared tongs, and the toaster was also the same for both gluten and gluten-free bread—making contamination unavoidable. The same applies to the only two types of cornflakes. None of the other foods displayed (for example, cooked ham) were clearly labeled as gluten-free, so it was impossible to know whether they were safe. Before arriving, I asked if the hotel was organized for gluten-free guests, but unfortunately, the reality did not match the assurances I received. When I raised this with two members of staff, they were unable to provide information beyond a smile, which was disappointing. For this reason, if you are celiac, I would not recommend purchasing breakfast at the hotel.

We liked everything about his hotel. Great location, near metro station Andels and short distance to Carls Bridge by tram. Excellent breakfast. Modern and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. This wil be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Prague. Highly recommend.
