The Regent Grand

Amazing staff, especially reception and beach attendants. The accommodations are extraordinary and the pool and grounds so beautiful. The experience is quiet, calm and unassuming despite the luxury. Could not have been a better vacation.

TL:DR Synopsis: I’d encourage you to stay at Grace Bay Club, Seven Stars, The Palms, Wymara, or the Ritz over this resort. This was our 12th visit to Turks and Caicos and have stayed at 10 other resorts on Grace Bay. Sadly, this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had in Turks. Our room was in terrible condition with multiple pieces of damaged furniture (see pictures). The room quality, bed quality and furniture condition was truly worse than a Motel 6. Even the walls and mirror were damaged upon our arrival. One day, houskeeping never came to clean the room until we called and asked for it. We brought all of this to the management’s attention and they did nothing. The safe was not bolted to the cabinet, so literally anyone could pick it up and walk out of the room with it. Then they sent maintenance into our room without first informing or telling us that someone would be coming into our room. This was not appropriate. The front desk was often empty with no attendant. We had to ask for breakfast vouchers, even though they were supposed to be included with our stay. When we brought our concerns to management, they seemed less than interested, and the general manager would not even give me his time or email to contact. The front desk manager did send an apology email which seemed quite generic. They did nothing to “make it right” for their unsatisfied guest despite our multiple requests. On a positive note: the pool area is beautiful and well kept, as is the beach (Same as all the other Grace beachfront hotels). Bottom line, the price is the same as other excellent resorts, including Grace Bay club, the Palms, Seven Stars, Wymara and the Ritz Carlton. All of those other resorts exceeded this resort in terms of quality and customer service. I will be back to Grace Bay, but never again to The Regent Grand. This is a condo, not a 5 star hotel.

Location excellent with beautiful well maintained grounds. Walking distance to many good restaurants, grocery store and shops. The beach front was better tended and cleaner than the adjacent properties including the Ritz Carlton next door. Staff was great for the most part. The unit had everything we needed except for some additional blankets. The air conditioning was out for a few days but fixed promptly upon arrival of the parts and the management offered another unit for us in the meantime. The unit was a bit outdated decor wise and could use some updating of furniture etc. Overall great and we would come back again to the Regent Grand.

Beautiful luxury stay with top flight service. The beach was clean and lounges, towels and umbrellas were provided. Super pool with two hot tubs. The suites are spacious with a large private deck. The front desk was helpful. On site security was reassuring. It was unexpected to have a bar onsite for a relatively small property.

We were beyond happy with our choice to stay at the Grand Regent. Prior to arrival I was contacted and offered an arranged private airport Pick up which went smoothly. Check in was easy, we were shown the property and introduced to staff. Our room was spacious, clean and pleasant, we had nice cool air conditioner and all amenities needed. The grounds are amazing and the staff is lovely and attentive. The beach is on the most beautiful stretch in Grace bay. It’s quiet and well maintained. The chairs and umbrellas are comfortable and amazing. The towels are large and cozy! Within a few minutes walk there are dozens of shops, restaurants and cafes. We lived the quick steps out of the resort right into the heart of town. We didn’t grocery shop but if you wanted to, it’s a 5-7 minute walk from the property. No car was needed. We have already checked into future availability to come back to this amazing resort. I highly recommend.
