Great hotel and our stay would have been wonderful if it had not been for having to pack up and move rooms at 1am due to our ac not working and leaking water all over our things at 1am. Management didn’t offer any compensation for our troubles, needless to stay we were ready to go! My husbands suit had to air dry, for the wedding we were in town for, due to the ac leaking on it.

When we arrived, the service was terrible. A man just grabbed our baggage out of our hands and wanted money for bringing it. The room is good, but the hotel looks very bad and old, it wasn't even reconstructed. Wi-fi is good, but don't talk to the service there, they will just talk to you as if you were nothing

A whole new world when staying at Quinta Real Puebla. I kept asking myself. Is it a movie or a real life experience?

This hotel has historical architecture with modern amenities. The breakfast was a special treat (offered fruit selection before the main entree). It is close to historical center within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were looking forward to staying with Quinta Real Puebla, a part of the renown chain of historic hotels. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the most disappointing stay of our two-month journey around Mexico. We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, longer than most visitors. The hotel is located in a former convent very close to the city cathedral. It boasts impressive public areas, but our hotel room really resembled an austere convent cell. The room lacked a mirror, a fridge/mini-bar, a coffee-maker. All of that was easily available in lower-class hotels. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped (including Ferragamo toiletries), but we suffered from the bad smell from the sink and a draining tap, which delivered only hot and very hot water. Our room was at the beginning of the corridor. So, the housekeeping’ intention to make up the room early in the morning was quite understandable. What came as a surprise, was that after seeing a “do not disturb” sign on our door, housekeeping never bothered to come back to check later, while we vacated the room for 5-6 hours in the middle of the day. That way we did not get our room cleaned twice during the stay. Once we ordered a salad from the room service. Compared with the menu description, the salad lacked two most nutritious ingredients (cheese and nuts).
