Gran Melia Iguazu

Our 2 night stay at the hotel has been absolutely splendid. The staff took care of all the finer details .. and we truly appreciated them going above and beyond to accommodate all our requests . This is by far the BEST place that you can stay in Iguazu Argentina. The view of the falls as you hang from the side of the infinity pool (or lounge poolside) is incredible. Rooms all have balconies; those with falls view are about twice as expensive so we opted with jungle view and were just as happy since you spend most of your time in the common areas. Adorable monkeys come to then balconies and the bar every night around 5 pm; one stole the peanuts off our table! The beds and pillows were the best I've ever had (I don't say this lightly as hotel pillows are my nemesis). Service was very good. Yoga (free, but reserve) with Jessica was excellent and the spa is beautiful. Food was good, not exceptional. Breakfast was great. It is no where near town so you have to eat all of your meals there. It is perfectly located in the park a 5 minute walk from the 4 trailheads and the gathering point for the boat trip that takes you under the falls. This is WELL WORTH the splurge. Much better than the splurge hotel on the Brazilian side in terms of location and things to do.

What a gorgeous hotel with stunning views of the falls from the infinity pool. Amazing service, great staff and delicious food. They arranged transfers for us too both to and from the airport and into the township. Special shout out to the front desk staff who gave us a late check out.

5 stars is not enough! The experience at Gran Melia iguazu is beyond words. It is luxury to the max. Every detail is thought of. The view from the lobby is spectacular looking straight and the falls and this view is also in some of the rooms. Our stay included the red level, this is definitely a worthwhile addition to your stay. A beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view as well as some tasty snacks available. The staff are fantastic. Huge shout out to Esteban and Lillian for everything they did to make our experience memorable. This stay is something we will remember for our lifetime ❤️

Awesome place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. Great views. Great staff. Excellent food and wine. The rooms were great..good air conditioning. Comfortable bed. View of the falls from our balcony and lots of monkeys to keep us entertained
