Desire Pearl Resort & Spa

We had the best time! The resort skews a little bit older than we had anticipated so not necessarily the kind of fun we always get at RM but the staff here is amazing and we’re more memorable than most of the guest we met. Amir and Erick are amazing Butlers Santiago, Xenia, Christian, Miguel (I’ve known him a long time He is great! , Alejandra, raider, Felix, Bella, Raul, Jairo, and Antonio! Lastly Alex “The best DJ in the world and super personable and great with guests” Thanks for all the fun earlier this month and we will be back!

Desire Maya is a very good experience, all staff are very friendly and professional, thanks all playmakers. Food, cocktails, and activities are very good. All the customers are very friendly We will come back next year. We recommend this place 100%

This review is long overdue. We always have an amazing time when we visit Pearl. The entire staff is phenomenal, and they all deserve recognition for going above and beyond. I will highlight those who stood out during this stay, making it just that much more special for us. Jesus at the Pearl restaurant has been one of our favorites for the past several years. He is attentive, friendly, always remembers our names and takes extra time even when he is busy. He made us a wonderful tableside, after-dinner cocktail and was also our server for the wine pairing dinner. His service is top notch. We splurge for the wine pairing dinner each time we visit Pearl, as the food are wine are delectable. We were disappointed to learn the menu was different this time, so we asked if it could be altered. The Food and Beverage Manager, Said, met with us and accommodated our requests. The food was incredible, and Martinez served some really terrific wines. What a great evening! Ceci and Esmeralda welcomed us by name into the restaurants each day. Carmen at Aphrodite served us for breakfast and lunch, always with a smile. Victor greeted us every morning with a hug and settled us into our favorite pool bed for the day. We had a few days of mostly rain that kept most of us away from the outside. The playmakers had activities in and around the lobby area. The energy and enthusiasm of Candice, Sam, John, and Bella didn't waiver. They worked to keep everyone upbeat despite the rain. A huge shout out to all of the beach crew cleaning away the seaweed, maintenance, housekeeping, groundskeepers, etc. They are quick to say hello with a smile, no matter what they are doing. They do a fabulous job making Pearl a beautiful place for us to vacation. Again, the entire staff at Pearl is amazing, and I wish I could list them all. Thank you for everything!! You can't wait to hear "Welcome Home!" on 12/29 and look forward to ringing in 2025 with all of you!!

The service crew, wait staff, and playmakers are awesome. They really make our experience memorable and enjoyable ever visit. The resort is well maintained and the maintenence crews are always making the resort look clean and beautiful.

This resort excels on every level! The staff and service are always top notch! Laura, the Hotel Manager always ensures that you are very well taken care of. Kudos to all of the incredible staff in the restaurants, Esmeralda, Wilbert, Ediberto, Servando, Oliver, and Isaac. Our fabulous bartenders, Peter, Christian and Rosenberg. Pool staff, Victor and Antonio for always having a chair ready for our day. Yolanda for delivering cold beverages all day long. A very special thanks to Hector, Irving and Carlos (Butlers) for taking care of any and all requests, and the maintenance staff (Juan and his smile!) for keeping the property looking pristine and wonderfully maintained. Every aspect of this resort far exceeded our expectations!! Thank you for making our vacation perfect in all regards!!!!
