Desire Pearl Resort & Spa

The vacation was excellent. Our room faced the ocean so we could hear the sound of the waves and seat on our balcony and just enjoy the view. The service is exceptional, from the front desk, the butlers and the entertainment staff. There are several restaurants on site so the food choice varies and is always good. We were there on Thanksgiving and they offered a thanksgiving buffet, which was very nice.

I only write a review if an experience is Truly Incredible or Incredibly Terrible. See if you can guess Desire Pearl falls into. I am truly thankful to the incredible staff of this amazing resort for giving my wife and I a LITERAL dream vacation. It was amazing, from start to finish. From the time we were greeted by Leo and Mario at the front, to the "Playmakers" (impossibly attractive people frolicking in the sun) getting the party hyped (shout out to Bela with her amazing singing voice, Kia, Candice, Sam, Felix, Ruiders and the LOVELY Alejandra... You guys need a calendar. Or posters. Maybe a website.) and keeping it pumping. The staff is not only top-notch, but so kind and friendly, I could never have imagined the impact their kindness would have on our trip. My man Miguel, looking out for us noobies and getting us a beautiful bed on the beach to celebrate our anniversary. Servando, who appears out of thin air to check on you, whether its a drink or food and anything in between. Master Mixologists Jorge at the swim up bar and Luis Lopez at the Jacuzzi bar, had me drinking my weight in tequila. The amazing restaurants staff. Gilberto had me and my wife cracking up at Pearl and Poots, Enrique and Joshua taking such good care of us at Aphrodite. So many great people made this trip so special and that doesn't even cover all of the wonderful people we met who were also guests. It was our first time at Desire Pearl, but I assure it will not be our last. Hope to see you there!

Absolutely incredible.Laura is incredible and being sure that everything is 5 star plus!! Coming to our favourite vacation spot twice a year is absolutely incredible!! Thank you for making our time there perfect!!! We will be back in April!!

Great all inclusive clothing optional adult resort. 98 total rooms. All have nice pool or water views. The rooms have a hosienda look. You fell like you are in Mexico. There are new mansion and water front Royal rms if you want to splurge. The beach was in pretty shape. The staff works hard to keep the beach clean. There is a nice pier you can go out on with nice water and resort views. Life guard on duty as well as secrity guards on the beach. The beach is openso there are vacation quests from ither hotels coming by to go visit the town. Volleyball everyday on beach and in the pool. Pool is heated in winter months. Plenty of room for everyone. There is a busy end where the bar is located and water activities are held. There is also a quiet end which usually just has guests. This end is not heated. There are 3 restaurants. Suki, Asian flare is our favorite. Pearl is more formal with the dress code. Cuisine varies. Members can make reservations. For nonmembers it's walk in and ck for availability. Early the better. The staff is very welcoming when you exit your vehicle to leaving. When you ck in you will get a bracelet that has a chip to get in your room. Bracelet colors designate members, guests returning and guests first time. You can go and participate or not participate in the activities. Around 9 pm there will a live band or dj to dance. 10:30 the Disco opens with local talent. At 11:00 the dj plays his tunes til 3am. Most guests leave shortly thereafter to hit the huge jacuzzi for more drinks and conversation. Beds are around the jacuzzi for guests to relax. Tipping is optional. Your level of service is not affected by your tip amt. They work very hard so tip what you feel is comencerate with the level of service received.

The resort is clothing optional all inclusive for couples only. The staff are stellar and very friendly. The bars carry top shelf liquors and know how to make any type of drink you're looking for. The restaurants are nice with various dinner themes. The rooms are clean and have a hacienda style to them. They all look out to the ocean. The evening entertainment is okay. The theme nights are fun. The guests are friendly and easy to chat with. We go to Pearl 6 times a year. We've always had a great time!
