Had one of the best vacations so far. The staff really went over and above to make us feel welcomed. I'd like to mention those servers: Noe Fidel Abraham Sergio Eulid Erik!! These guys rocked!!! They definitely made our stay that much more pleasurable. Special shout out to Mauricio in sales. Thank you for making our membership upgrade seamless. Do yourself a favor and go see him and get a membership !! You will not be disappointed. If you need activity suggestions, please go see Yael. We had to cancel our pre planned excursions due to the weather but he still found us an activity that wasn't affected by and we had such a blast. Joseph, Cynthia, Luisa and Marcos thank you for all of your great suggestions and always greeting us with your sweet smiles! Truly a great vacation!! Truly wonderful Staff and Management!! Tony sales also with Cynthia, Luisa went above and beyond Our wonderful housekeeper Adrian was a professional. Kind,and accomadating. The food was delicious and the drinks too. I recommend this place to be tried. You will not be disappointed

We encountered mixed experiences for our 4nt stay here. On arrival its a hotel aiming for a luxury sensory experience but falling short on basic service and cleanliness. Positives: The deluxe ocean-view room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, crisp sheets, and a lovely bathroom. Impressive public areas and overall room quality. Negatives: Poor check-in experience with a 'concierge' type check in which was chaotic at best. We arrived at 2pm but our room wasn't available until 4pm. Emphasis on sensory elements (room scent selection, pillows) over essential information about the hotel, which was only provided via QR code on a photocopied leaflet. Dirty and poorly maintained rooftop area. Sticky, dirty floors with leftover food cartons, drinks from previous night with no attempt from staff to clear away. Difficulty securing sunbeds due to early reservations, with no enforcement against this. We did arrive on a Saturday and apparently hotel was busy with a wedding. By Tuesday it seemed quieter. Breakfast in Ro Marley was marred by loud reggae music at 9am which felt out of place for breakfast time. Breakfast on rooftop was ok. All the staff in these establishments work hard. Service issues throughout the hotel: slow restaurant service (30+ minute waits for food), unhelpful staff, and awful lack of attention to cleanliness especially tables. Seemed to be mny staff walking around with Ipads just talking to guests when the staff in the bars & restaurants were running ragged ! While the hotel has potential as a 4-5 star venue with beautiful rooms and impressive interior design, the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and overcomplication in sensory features detract from the experience. Should prioritize basics like cleanliness and efficient service over gimmicks. Just as note the service, menus are very much geared to the American market.

Wonderful week at The Fives Oceanfront! What made our experience was the staff! The waiters were so attentive! The front desk great! Even the sales people always treated us like family! Bike tour with Gustavo was great! Thank you all for the attentive service!

Fives Oceanfront Me and my partner stopped here at the end of October 2024, for 10 days on an all-inclusive holiday. We both enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is a strong point, being right on the beach front and a 15 minute walk into Puerto Morales where there is some bars and shops. The facilities at the hotel are also a positive. The three restaurants, two pools and being on the beach front. Each of the restaurants serve different food, however there is a lack of local Mexican food on these menus which was a bit disappointing. The pools had ample space, with sun beds being free throughout the day, likewise with the beach. The staff at this hotel were also faultless, and would tend to any request. We specifically enjoyed the service of the poolside bar and were kept topped up on drinks throughout the day. Another bonus with this hotel is that they offer their own service to book your excursions with. Yael is very informative with the trips he offers and is happy to sit and chat through them all to find the best trip to suite your interest. He then followed up with us the next day to ask how we found the trip and would we recommend it. The trips booked via the hotel were slightly more expensive however we felt you had more security and was given a better booking service by using the hotel. However, there are a few negatives with this hotel. Firstly, the service within all of the restaurants is a bit slow. There was a couple of times where we waited 30 minutes + for food. Sometimes we had the incorrect order brought out, these issues were resolved soon after, but increased the wait time further. As previously mentioned, the restaurants did have a lack of local cuisine. The breakfast menus and room service menu held the most local options. Secondly, there is no evening entertainment other than on a Friday night and a lack places to sit to enjoy a drink, in the evening with the bar also shutting at 10pm. It would have been nice to just have the roof top bar open when weather allows with some background music on the speakers. Overall, we would be inclined to rebook a holiday at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay, and found it to be relaxing and would bear in mind the above issues prior to booking.
