Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa

Seriously: sell your grandmother's silver; raid your kids' college funds; take a second or third side hustle, and then do whatever you can to stay at Tierra Patagonia. The stunning low-lying architecture gives every single room a huge picture window view of the awe-inspiring landscape along Lake Sarmiento and beyond, as do the floor to ceiling windows in the public spaces all showcasing the craggy peaks of Torres del Paine National Park across the water. (I literally gasped when we first arrived.) Natural design elements abound inside, and it all brings a sense of cozy luxury. Beyond the spectacular views, there is the warm and welcoming personalized service (helmed by manager Nicholas and his dedicated staff), the food, cocktails, wine, spa, indoor infinity pool with the same stunning views, and most importantly, the wilderness hikes and the expert guides who escort you on them so that nothing seems impossible, and isn't. We loved every single thing about this hotel - I've run out of superlatives.

This is one of the very best hotels I ever stayed at. The whole experience is amazing. I loved the food, the trips, the rooms, the spa....everything. The trips are very well thought through and there are lots of different full day and half day options. Dinner is lovely - some really nice dishes The setting of the hotel is amazing also.

Hotel is visually and architecturally stunning, even more so than the pictures. You don’t spend a minute there not feeling you’re incredibly fortunate to be able to experience it. I know there are two or so other hotels that compete for Tierra’s business but I simply can’t imagine anything about them would compensate for the absolutely stunning design of Tierra’s facilities and overall vibe. I should add that the staff and tours were terrific and the food, cocktails, and wine were all something to look forward to when you were out for long hikes! There is so much more that can be said about this wonderful place, but I encourage you to just experience it yourself.

We went to Tierra for our honeymoon and it was absolutely a magical experience. Every member of the staff was incredible, the location is unparalleled, and the excursions were amazing. They were so accommodating as we changed what we wanted to do and left no stone unturned in providing next level service. Truly a special place.
