Poor management and customer service. We booked a master suite to stay 16 days. The Room didn't have blackout curtains, and we requested to have a room where we could sleep. The only option was to gave us a 2 room place, BUT , we needed to pay extra usd $2,000 and more. No even a certificate for a dinner, or a first night discount in the suite that didn't meet our expectations. Most hotels can give an upgrade to acknowledge guests that stay for more than 5 days, specially paying for a master suite. No customer service at all. Service though at their restaurants and cleaning lady were really good. The hotel is not luxury at all. Location is not good. Far away from everything, and a very bumpy road to go out and down.

The hotel was very spacious, and I had a good experience with the staff. The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t have guests over and that it was secluded from everything. I couldn’t really walk to shops or to the beach; I had to Uber everywhere.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel staff was exceptional they were kind and precessional and not pushy at all, they did not try and up sale my wife and I on anything and they had good advice if we asked. Special shout outs to Salvador at the front desk, and our servers Jorge & Abel. The room view was absolutely stunning! Room service was quick and professional about 20-30min wait times. Taxis were out front waiting for you to travel anywhere. My only complaint if I even call it that, was the doors to the rooms were very loud when they closed which woke me up a few times late at night and early in the morning from other couples down the hall, I am a light sleeper. Otherwise all I can say is this is a great place to spend time on vacation! 10/10.

Incredible vacation experience at the Grand Miramar! Exceeded our expectations! From the drive up the cobblestone and windy road, to the view, the staff, the pools and the vibe - the Grand Miramar was amazing! STAFF - were all so friendly and welcoming. They made you feel like family more than visitors of the hotel. VIEWS - nothing short of spectacular. ROOMS - so spacious, clean (and I'm one of those who go in and wipe everything down lol...there was nothing to wipe down, it was spotless!) and the daybeds are sooooo comfy! POOLS - Perfect temperature for the season, very relaxing, always room to find a space to lounge (even though the hotel was full) and not busy with young children. All pools get lots of sun! UBER/TAXI - easy to get and the front staff are wonderful to help out. We asked them how much each ride would be so that we would know what to expect. They were great at security coming back into the hotel. FOOD - breakfast was always delicious with fresh fruit, juices, eggs, sausage and Mexican dishes. If you ask, they would make you an omelette. They have vegetarian options. Our daughter has celiac and they were incredible ensuring that her meal was GLUTEN FREE. The wonderful chef made her something delicious and different each of the 10 days were were there. PROXIMITY TO TOWN - great! It's about a 5-6 minute ride, and it is walkable if you wanted. It cost us approximately 100 - 180 pesos depending on the time and where you want to be dropped off. We did the walk down the hill and into the romantic zone and it was about a 40 minute cobblestone walk. It was beautiful! We also took a taxi to the hotel district closer to the airport (Grand Venetian area) - $180 pesos - and walked the beach back to the romantic zone - that was a lot of fun and you get to see so much! GLUTEN FREE - the gf breakfast at the hotel was always delicious (according to my daughter) and it was beautifully presented. The truffle fries from room service were yummy. *Restaurants we visited in town with GF options - Sea Monkey, The Oyster Grill, La Dolce Vita, grocery store - Leys for snacks. THE VIBE - relaxed, relaxed, relaxed. If you are looking for an all-inclusive vibe with loud music, big party atmosphere - this is not the place. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with alot of sun, spectacular views, chill vibe, perfect setting and great people - you have found your place! OVERALL EXPERIENCE - 6 out of 5 stars!!!

I had an incredible time at the Grand Miramar - the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly - in particular Salvador and Abel were above and beyond in their recommendations, service and welcoming energy. The resort is beautiful and has stunning views, but the people who work there really made me feel at home and I'm so grateful to them!
