This is the best hotel in Puerto Viejo hands down! From the accommodations to the location and the friendly service! Hotel is immaculate, both pools are awesome, bar is amazing and the staff is superb. The beach is one of the bests in CR and you have a lill piece to yourself!

The best wildlife experience and the best hospitality experieience all in one resort, Le Cameleon!
The best hotel on the coast with the best beach club attached! We saw monkeys, sloths, iguanas, toucans and all other kinds of wildlife right on the hotel property! We watched and listened to howler monkeys every day from the restaurant during breakfast! We are very excited to see the completion of the the renovations going on right now and we can't wait to be back again in December for the holidays!

Terrible restaurant service
This review is about the RESTAURANT, not the hotel. Went to the restaurant with my husband for our anniversary & sat at the bar. After serving us drinks (pina coladas which were actually quite good), the bartender never checked on us again. Didn’t even look up or look our way. Our appetizer came out wrong. No apology. It was just taken away and the correct appetizer never even came out! We never saw our “server” again. Not one person checked on us for over an hour. We could’ve easily just gotten up and walked out and I don’t think anyone would’ve noticed. Worst restaurant service I’ve ever experienced

Fun and Comfortable
The Hotel was first class. Staff at both the rooms area and restaurant and bar was excellent. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. I will be back for sure. A short and fun trip to town by. Tuk Tuk. All pool areas were very clean. We saw monkeys and sloths in the trees within the grounds. Knowing how interested I was in seeing the wildlife, housekeeping knocked on my door second afternoon to point out monkeys in the trees. Awesome !!

Clean, reasonably priced room, beautiful beach
The staff was really nice and helpful. We loved hanging by the infinity pool overlooking the ocean! We saw some wildlife on the property and felt very safe there. The A/C in our room was essential and things were very clean at this location. Although we had most of our breakfasts there, we found El Ricon just up the street. That breakfast was AMAZING!
