Run book elsewhere ! UNETHICAL PRACTICES !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

The resort allows their employees to run your card without proper checks and balances and then won’t take responsibility they just reverse it and say you have to wait! Not understanding how credit and utilization works they don’t care and have zero integrity not to mention they will leave you in a moldy room and place a dehumidifier that does nothing and was broken. Poor excuse of a resort so beautiful. The resort itself was overall nice but the management and club level are a joke. How do you charge for an upgrade to a mold infested room and then take no accountability?!

Beautiful property, people and island!

Recently visited for 5 nights and so happy with our stay. We are not luxury travelers so that is not our comparison… but in addition to the grounds being beautiful and staff so gracious and friendly, the rooms are so nice compared to other AI resorts we have stayed at, and the food has been top notch. We had the basic King bed resort view, and the room size and queen sleeper sofa have been plenty spacious for us and 2 teen girls. The separate room for the toilet is a plus and has sped up the family’s total getting ready time 🙂 plenty of space for clothing and luggage storage as well. The balcony setup is increíble and the daybed is the perfect spot for an afternoon nap in the shade. We thought Tempest and Noodle & Thread restaurants were very good. We also enjoyed the Seafood night at the Mercado buffet on our first night: the snow crab claws and Dominican rice and beans were my favorite. For lunch we enjoyed the bbq chicken, rice and veggies by the pool, green and picante sauces were a must! The Caesar salad from Prontoz was also very good. The water park was a hit with our teens, they loved the slides and we used the lazy river (although not too lazy) more than we expected. And well done to the entire nightly entertainment team! The only complaint I have is the sales pitch for upgrades, the showing of the presidential suite and photography. They are persistent but by day 3 left us well enough alone. Really lovely, though! Well done Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana!

The people at Hyette Ziva have been exemplary. Every since we came to the hotel, Ronald went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Even the next say when my first son can and then that afternoon, my other son came with my daughter- in- law came, he make sure they were all well taken care of in every possible way.

Amazing hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

WOW what a holiday! Myself, husband and 15 year old son stayed with another family similar ages, the first week of April. We all agreed it was the best holiday we've ever had, and between us all we have travelled to many countries. The hotel was beautiful from arrival, check in was chilled and easy, the staff were very helpful and the resort as we went to our rooms was spotless. We booked swim up rooms, only downside was I asked afternoon sun and by noon block 3 had lost the sun, but it made us venture to the pool and beach and we weren't disappointed, the pool was well maintained, and the staff were attentive and the beach was stunning sand super soft and the sea a warm temperature, the staff again were very attentive and even helped us find umbrellas. The food in the buffet was very very good, hygiene is obviously a priority as the food is all served from the stations. The variety of food is very good and the quality of the steaks particularly were great! We tried all the restaurants on the Ziva side and they were all wonderful, we even tried The Blind Butcher, wow great experience! So overall we absolutely loved this holiday and would not hesitate to return, if you have booked this hotel then you won't be disappointed

Wonderful Spring Break!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We had a wonderful family vacation here and would recommend! Our expectations were low for food at an all-inclusive but we were pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed every meal (and we are picky!). The staff were very attentive and friendly - like anywhere, if you are kind and make an effort to speak their language, they are much more helpful than if you ignore them or act entitled. My teens were bored of the pool/beach activities/water park after a couple of days, so I would recommend an excursion if you will be staying more than 3 days with teens (though I think younger kids would be fine!). We scheduled a private boat through the concierge and had a wonderful time snorkeling, cruising and stopping at the shallows to enjoy the water. We had a five night stay and all agreed that one more excursion off-property would have been nice. Overall great experience.
