Salmonella Food Poisoning
Food Safety Warning. My entire family got Salmonella Food Poisoning during our September 2024 trip. We never left the resort during our 5 night, 6 day trip. Symptoms appeared on day 5. Confirmed with lab results during emergency room visit upon landing back home. We let the resort know and they immediately replied stating they performed a “thorough investigation”. I’m not sure how thorough their investigation could be in a two hour, after hours period. They blamed it on climate change and UV light exposure. Just for public awareness, Salmonella is food poisoning that comes from feces contaminated food, it’s not a sunburn.

Salmonella Poisoning, anyone else?
We were just there 9/11 - 9/16. Two adults and two children. We never left the hotel, we only ate at their restaurants. We contracted Salmonella Food Poisoning in the final two days of our 5 night stay. Verified with lab sample analysis immediately upon return home.. Children still violently ill. Anyone else?

Stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana
Starting with Juan our butler - he was on top of everything and made our stay smooth and easy. Elvin is your activities director that has a motor that does not quit! He is an absolute perfect director- keeping energy up and people engaged!! Make sure you find these guys when you make your trip to Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana!

Not what it used to be
Dont get me wrong, it is still very good. However it used to be even better. We went on a family vacation for the second time, looking forward to the water park. Only to find out that it was out of service. The room and the hotel areas are amazing. Food and beverage were fine, my expectations were a bit higher due to previous experience. I hope they can work on their flaws

This place is really nice! Had trouble with communication and a 3rd party booking so had to pay $700 usd on top of trip cost. Upgraded us.. to the wing under construction all day. Nice room tho! Gym is best I've seen around! Staff were friendly. Food and atmosphere is amazing. Didn't mean to be if rude, I still had fun. Thanks
