This is our third visit to this beautiful resort! We especially enjoyed the new craft cocktails and tasting classes hosted by Manuel. His knowledge of the industry and the history of spirits and cocktail making was extensive and superb! We learned a ton and made delicious Palomas, Mojitos, and two different Gin and Tonics. It was a perfect mid afternoon break from the sun as well. Manuel also served up some super creative cocktails in the evening while bartending at Twisted Timbers and Gabriella’s. We hope the resort keeps this new activity going and even expands it!!

Bryan at Cocoonz is the best bartender at Hyatt Ziva cap Cana. He makes amazing drinks and was very attentive and helpful to my entire family. We feel like we made a friend in Bryan. We appreciate his exceptional customer service while we enjoy our vacation. Thank you Bryan-he gets 5 stars!!

Fantastic 10/10 experience! If you have any food allergies just request Sebastian! My wife has severe gluten and soy allergies, the supervisor Sebastian made sure she could eat safely everywhere we wanted to! He was amazing. If you deal with any food allergies this place can accommodate you and they do it extremely well! The property offers plenty of gluten-free options but most places struggle with soy-free options. Sebastian knew his stuff and went above and beyond to take care of us! The rest of the stay was also great. Clean, comfortable beds, beach and pool service was fantastic. Will absolutely be back!

**Review of my experience at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana** Six months ago, we started planning this family trip with so much excitement. We wanted to relive those magical moments we used to share on the trips my father-in-law used to organize—moments full of laughter, bonding, and unforgettable memories. This time, we were a large group, 22 people in total, united by one goal: to enjoy this paradise we had always believed Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana to be. We became members of Playa Collection years ago precisely because we fell in love with this place—its charm, its beauty, and the promise of an unforgettable experience. But this time, what we encountered was nothing short of heartbreaking. We decided to go the extra mile, to invest more to make this trip even more special. We were offered an *upgrade* to “Ocean View” rooms—a promise of waking up every morning to a spectacular view of the sea, the perfect touch for a trip so meaningful to us. We paid the additional cost joyfully, convinced it would be worth every penny. But everything fell apart upon arrival. At check-in, we were given rooms with “Partial Ocean View” instead of the promised “Ocean View.” At first, I thought it was a mistake, something the hotel would quickly fix. But what followed was a series of frustrations and disappointments. The Playa Collection representatives, who sold us this dream, vanished. They were unreachable, unresponsive, and completely absent. The hotel staff, though polite, told us there were no “Ocean View” rooms available. That was it—there was nothing they could do. We were left with the bitter reality that not only would we not get the rooms we paid for, but we also wouldn’t be refunded the extra money we had spent on the *upgrade*. It felt like our complaints were falling into a void, like we had been scammed—paying for something that simply didn’t exist. Seeing my family, who had arrived on this trip so full of hope, disappointed was the hardest part. This trip held so much meaning for us—a chance to reconnect, to share something special, to honor the cherished moments of the past we missed so deeply. Instead, we were left with a sense of powerlessness, frustration, and betrayal. It’s hard to put into words how it feels to invest so much time, effort, and money into something that was supposed to be magical, only to have it all ruined by a company and a system that fail to deliver on their promises. This experience left us with a bitter taste that will be difficult to forget. Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is a beautiful place, but unfortunately, this time, its beauty couldn’t make up for the damage they caused. They sold us dreams that didn’t exist, and in doing so, they broke something priceless: the chance to create happy memories together.
