Everything about this resort is so warm and welcoming. Every person you encounter always has a smile and is willing to do anything to make your stay better. We have met so many great friends over our 3 visits. Raquel was awesome!!!! Kudos to Elvin, Jose, Amado, Bryan, Amurys and Diomedes. Jorge, Juan, Juan Carlo and Amanda kept our drinks full. George from Chinola. We already have our next trip booked.

Great time at Ziva and Zilara. Willi, Joseph and Jose the bartender at the Zilara Club pool were the best. Very helpful and easy to speak with. Good beach at Cap Cana. Favorite restaurant was Brandos. We will return next year. Also the coffee bars had great coffee.

We just returned from our second year at Hyatt Ziva. We were there last year as a family of four and loved it so much, we convinced four other families to join us this year. Everything was just as amazing as we remembered it and everyone loved it and want to return again. Club Level – Because of our Hyatt status, we were able to upgrade to club level which gave us a few added benefits including 30% off spa services, club lounge, Chinola restaurant, and Butler service. We had Raquel who checked on us each day and who we could communicate with daily via WhatsApp. She was able to help us with dinner reservations, coordinate airport shuttle, book spa appts, adjusting housekeeping and turn down services, and ask any questions with prompt response, so kind of like private concierge. Being able to use the club lounge/bar with premium alcohol was also nice. We took breaks in there for better drinks and kids loved hanging out there as well especially during an all day storm. Kids Club: The kids club was what really made this trip even more amazing for our group. The kids loved it so much and kept begging us to drop them off at kids club throughout the entire stay. The staff is amazing and wonderful. Yaya was so fun and engaging with the kids and Estefani was so sweet and attentive. They loved Pajama night where they setup a buffet just for the kids and a movie night at the kids club. It gave us adults a chance to enjoy a kidfree dinner on the Zilara side. They constantly had different activities throughout the day including pizza making, slime making, arts and crafts, water balloon games, wax hand dip, face painting, and more. My kids still talk about it since we’ve returned. Food: We remembered the food being pretty good for an all inclusive, but for some reason, we felt like it was even better on return. Chinola – our biggest perk from club level was being able to go to Chinola for Breakfast. It is also available for Lunch and dinner but we never had the time or chance to go. Breakfast isn’t anything spectacular or fancy but our kids loved it. Although Mercado breakfast was great, we found it was often incredibly busy and the made to order lines backed up. Chinola was very accommodating and made certain items like eggs, toast, fruit however we liked. Our kids loved the rainbow pancakes and peanut butter yogurt parfaits and requested we go here every day. The beach front view was also an added bonus Mercado Buffet – We loved the breakfast here as well. They offer so many different options. The made to order items were always the best: breakfast burritos, eggs, pancakes ect and we loved all the fresh fruit each day. Last stay, we didn’t like the lunches or dinners so much so stayed away until the last day where we had lunch and it was so good that we regretted not coming more often. I think the key is to get the made to order items (pasta, steak) rather than the items that have been sitting out all day under the heat lamps. Navigator - we ate here the first night. We got there as soon as they opened, and they were able to accommodate all 20 of us! They made a kids only table and the staff was so accommodating and attentive to the kids, even taking their drink orders. It made for a very special and enjoyable first dinner. Brandos was the French restaurant on the Zilara side that we went to during one of the nights the kids went to the pajama part at the kids club. The duck was definitely the stand out dish along with the chocolate cake dessert which was pretty much a chocolate lava cake. Noodle and Thread – We ate here twice during our stay and loved it. The Short Ribs, cacio pepe were my favorite items. Tempest Hibachi – Everyone raves about this Hibachi place, and rightfully so. We all agreed it was one of the best hibachis we’ve ever had! The staff here was incredible as well and was very accommodating to the kids. Wish we came here twice during our stay! It gets very busy quick and tables limited so arrive as soon as they open. One Eyed Cat Bar on the Zilara side was fantastic. We loved the smoked old fashion and bubble martinis. Rum Bar – had the best drinks including espresso martinis Nightly Entertainment was great. The kids loved the magic show, Disney, and lion king. They also loved movie night on the lawn and by the pool with a little dessert and snack buffet. Spa – We booked the deep tissue massage as a group and it was amazing. You need to arrive an hour prior so you can use the pools, saunas, and steam rooms. We were assigned a personal assistant, Elis, who escorted us everywhere and she was fantastic, attentive, and so sweet. Overall, we had such an amazing trip that we can’t stop talking about and cannot wait to return next year!

Our family has stayed at this beautiful resort for the past 3 years. We absolutely love our experience every time. The staff are warm and welcoming the moment you arrive. My boys always look forward to seeing their favourite staff members to play ping pong, baseball and pickle ball. Elvin, Amado and Nelson are like big brothers to my children. They always went out of their way up make sure the kids were having fun and enjoying their stay. We were always welcomed daily by genuine smiles and big hugs by these staff members. The resort is fairly new and well keept. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is delicious with a variety of restaurants, If you are looking for a beautiful holiday spot for your family, this is the resort for you. A absolutely stunning place with staff that truly enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend!

Resort was amazing. Elvin was awesome with the kids. We’ve been to a lot of all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the DR but Ziva is the best. Everyone went out of their way to make it special. Food was great, facilities kept up, and constant activities for the whole family.
