Tortuga Bay Hotel at Puntacana Resort & Club

We spent an amazing weekend at Tortuga Bay Punta Cana. From the second you step off the plane, everything is taken care of by the nicest, most competent staff. We loved the beautiful property, the spacious villas, the great food options and every detail that made our vacation special.

Most beautiful area and facilities for families and a romantic getaway for couples. Close to the airport and numerous activities available within the resort area and outside. Nice transport services from the airport with very attentive drivers.

Incredible time at tortuga bay. Service was unparalleled With amazing ambassadors like Carlos, Fary and Diana. Beautiful location and so much to do on premises. Property is huge and lagoons are a must see. Were very accommodating to all dietary requests as well!

We had an unbelievable experience at Tortuga Bay. Sadly, we only could stay for three days, I wish it could have been three weeks! The resort is very small and private, with beautiful villas, an amazing beach, lots of activities nearby (golf courses, spa, the lagoons…), but by far the best thing is the service and the people. You have “ambassadors” looking after you who go out of their way to immediately fulfill your every wish and who are always just a WhatsApp away, the service and bar staff are amazing, and the housekeeping team is super creative and prepares little surprises like bubble baths with petals and candles during turndown service. The extra touches are incredible - for example, you get to use beautiful bikes that come with your name plate, which you get to keep at the end (the name plate, not the bike 😊)! The staff is so friendly and treats you like royalty and family at the same time. We ate at Bamboo and La Yola, and both were great. We also had snacks and drinks at the pool bar. There are so many people to recognize, and i am sure i will forget someone, but i will do my best - Carlos Andres, Fary, Anderson and Valentina from the "ambassador" team, Jhonson and Alcedo from the breakfast crew (Alcedo is also an amazing sax player!), Angel and Rocky from the Pool Bar, Manuel and Miguel Angel from the Beach bar, Willy and Fabian from La Yola, and Edinson and Pedro who drove us around. I travel a lot, and I have the privilege of staying in a lot of luxury hotel and eating at high end restaurants - but i rarely had an experience like this, where people are not only clearly trained to the highest standard, but genuinely enjoy making their guests happy!

our stay at Tortuga Bay was absolutely expectational! we will definitely come back! Team was extremely warm responsive and well trained; the hotel location, manucured grounds and facility were amazing and extremely serene, super safe and restful! my 12 yo daughter loved the golf carts and this added to her experience!
