Excellent hotel in the Punta Pacifica are of Panama City! Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls, casinos, and other city attractions. There is a free shuttle bus that goes around the area every hour, so it's easy to explore. There are 2 infinity pools that look out to the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is situated along the waterfront, offering stunning views where the infinity pools seamlessly blend with the Pacific Ocean in the distance while directly overlooking Panama Bay, which is part of the larger Pacific coastline. My favorite part of our stay this week was access to the Executive Lounge. They offer breakfast and dinner, buffet styles including soup, bread, cheeses, fresh cold cuts, fruits, desserts, and the main meal, which consists of meat or fish, rice or potatoes and veggies. Fresh and delicious every time. The breakfast was equally complete with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, breads, pastries, etc.. not to mention the best Panamanian coffee and soft drinks and water. Wine and beer are available for purchase. The staff at the executive lounge are amazing! They learned our names and made us feel right at home. Special thanks to Jose and Elizabeth and the whole staff at the lounge! They are great! I would definitely recommend getting access to the executive lounge either by booking a suite, through the marriott points, or just paying for it as an extra when you book the hotel. Having access to a quiet place with food and drinks is definitely a major plus and worth the money when compared to eating every meal at the restaurants. The curved executive suite is very spacious, with a nice view on the Ocean Reed side. The mattress needs to be replaced, though! The housekeeping is excellent and efficient. Plus the gym facilities are excellent 👌 La Vespa restaurant and Masi restaurant were our favorite, definitely a must try. Overall, it was an excellent stay for vacation, weekends, couples, families, business, or leisure. Will be back!

First time to Panama City and it was recommended to stay at JW Marriott. Special occasion so splurged on a king suite. The suite was very disappointing. The furniture is in serious need of being replaced. Water stains and chips; a couch of three cushions, only one that was “comfortable” ; barely could get 3 cups of coffee in the morning. Very generous with the in room water however. Beer prices in the mini bar were very reasonable. The room itself was very sparsely decorated, very business like. Very limited closet space. Overall would not recommend the room for the price point. The hotel Executive Lounge is very nice with a reasonable breakfast offering and nightly appetizers. Other than that do not expect to find food in the lounge during the day. There is a buffet breakfast. Check on the price to determine if you will eat enough to justify the price. $$$ Staff was very helpful but the managers were not very friendly. They would walk by items that should be attended to and never did. ??? Overall I think we should have stayed someone else and certainly not there for our entire visit. Maybe for a night no more than 2.I expressed my feelings to the hotel review before posting this and they answered promptly with sorry it did not meet your expectations, passed your comments along to the managers and we hope you choose us again. I felt it was a canned response. I replied chances were pretty good we would not stay there again and why don't you visit the room and ask yourself what you think the nightly rate should be. No response.

The four pools & Azul Pool Bar and Grill Restaurant were beautiful and the staff was beyond amazing. Elisha treated us with a personal touch at every visit. Elisha and her staff even provided a celebration for my daughter's birthday. She also offered recommendations for activities and dining.

We're at the hotel right now for 5 nights. Booked a partial ocean view room (we were told all of the full ocean views are owners). Found out today, over half the pool area is closed for a party the owner is hosting. Told nothing at checkin. The music is blaring, extremely noisy in room and only options for quiet have sub par view. So the owner closed the nicer pool side all day for a party, no notice given, super loud noise going from 4 until past midnight, and this was the owner's decision? Had to request room be cleaned upon arrival. Tub was dirty and dust everywhere. Staff is really nice and accommodating, but it seems the owner doesn't care. Definitely doesn't live up to JW brand. Had we known about the closed pool and noise would've booked elsewhere. Hotel not close to anything.

She is very attentive and friendly and works hard to make sure her customers are happy. She clearly actually cares! No matter how busy it got at times she never ceased to check that I was ok. I needed a menu and all they had was Spanish so she went out of her way to get me an English menu instead of me struggling.
