Millbrook Resort

Highlights + The whole experience was relaxing and inspiring + Our room had so many comfortable features including heated floors, separate rooms for bags/luggage, a separate toilet, a big bath and high-pressure shower. + The wifi was great and we were able to screen share to the TV with no issues + We made use of the excellent spa facilities, I wish the hours were open a little longer (later into the evening). The gym and wellness centre had thoughtful changing rooms. + Everything is very scenic and beautiful to look at, we had a pond with cute ducks outside of our room + On-site laundry facilities were handy Areas for improvement + not necessarily an inconvenience but the car park is located at the front of reception and you can be driven via cart to your room with your bags in tow. This experience would be great for winter or the cold, it was very relaxing and our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to be back in future.

Unbelievable stay! Cottage was superb and very clean, grounds and views exceptional and the Millhouse dining one of the best ( and we eat out a lot and at high profile places)…. Chef is incredibly talented and each dish is elevated to the highest standard! We ate 3x and worked our way through the entire menu. Not a single bad or even slightly disappointed dish. Staff were very knowledgeable too and very pleasant interaction with both ladies. Entire resort and our stay was just superb! Thank you Millbrook.

Stayed with family at the Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown over a weekend in August-September. We were driven to our room in a buggy by a very nice porter and shown our room. The room itself was huge and had all the amenities you would need. The room in which I was in had the toilet separate from the shower and bathtub, which was interesting, but in this part of the world, it is the norm. The room's location was tranquil, aesthetic and quiet. I also appreciate that you could cast your device on the TV, which was great if I didn't want to watch the local channels. The pool and fitness centre was great. The staff who were working at the fitness centre were lovely and friendly. Millbrook Restaurant was great as we had dinner there on one of the nights. I also appreciate the Millbrook Shuttle that was available should we want to quickly go into exciting Queenstown. Definitely recommend this place to those coming to the South Island for a visit!

I rung the reservation department 24 hours prior to arrival (standard hotel cancellation policy - not Millbrook however they have 72 hour policy) the women (Amanda or Amarda or something like that) was incredibly rude, i was ringing as we were coming for a weekend and we all have Covid and are incredibly sick and our toddler has a ear infection i tried to amend the booking but was unable to as that’s hotel policy. This is ridiculous when i said that to the lady she said it’s not her issue when i said well come anyway and get staff and guests sick she just said well that’s up to you and hung up on me!! firstly we ar incredibly disappointed a place like Milkbrook has no flexibility to allow for sickness this was a special weekend for us and secondly i am shocked at the rude staff i had dealt with.

Millbrook is an experience and you don’t need to be a golfer to appreciate what the resort has to offer. Great accommodation Delicious food Beautiful grounds Parking a walk away from your residence On the doorstep of Arrowtown 25 minute drive into Queenstown 25 minute drive to Gibbston Valley Winery/Restaurant 30 minute drive to Oxbow Adventures And all using Millbrook as a marvellous Homebase Highly recommended
