Nice stay -pricey (150 cleaning fee for one night stay)

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We had a nice stay here for a group gathering - in February. Fluffy snowfall made the area striking - the units were warm and cozy and well stocked. That said, 175 fee for one night plus 150 cleaning fee - makes me question the value. This place must be a BLAST in the summer when the artists stay there to play at the gorge. I am sure those units are super expensive but with the pool open and people dining outside - it must be amazing.

Lovely facility with extra firm beds...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

It's winter so we expected an off season pace without considering that the restaurant would have limited choices but the food was fine with great choices for wine. The Cliffhouses have amazing views but be prepared for extra firm beds. After the first sleepless night we requested a room change but the bed in the room we were shown was just as hard.

A magical spot

What a magical place and staff! I highly recommend. My friend and I went for a girls weekend. What a treat. The Cliff Houses are so comfortable and well appointed with stunning views. The spa practitioners are highly skilled and lovely people. Some of the best spa services I have had and I've had many. We participated in a wellness retreat of sound healing, star gazing, yoga, grounded in gratitude. Just beautiful and so restorative. The grounds are stunning, a true oasis. I highly recommend indulging in a stay and spa services. Food options are limited so bring snacks and a flash light or head lamp as the paths are dimly lit.

A Disappointing Stay at Sage Cliff Resort and Spa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Our family's stay at Sage Cliff Resort and Spa was unfortunately a major letdown. It quickly became evident that this hotel is far from family-friendly, especially during the winter months. The lack of basic amenities was shocking. The absence of microwave ovens in the rooms, even for families with young children, was incredibly inconvenient. Additionally, the lack of water heaters for coffee, a standard feature in even budget hotels, was frustrating. The resort's design choices were questionable, particularly the large, accessible windows in the bathrooms. This lack of privacy was unsettling, especially for families. The dimly lit pathways, devoid of any signage, made nighttime navigation a hazardous affair. The staff's indifference and lack of helpfulness further compounded the negative experience. The limited parking options, especially for larger vehicles, were a major inconvenience. And to top it all off, many of the amenities were closed during the winter season, severely limiting the recreational opportunities for guests. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Sage Cliff Resort and Spa, particularly for families. It's a disappointing choice that falls short of even basic hospitality standards.

Trendrils food and service is GREAT!

We ate at Tendrils Restaurant! LOVED IT1 Wish we had stayed the night. Resort is beautiful! Service in Tendrils was great! Server was Sarah L. The host in the lobby was friendly and so was the restaurant host. Food was delicious! Highly recommend.
