InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort

We had a great family time. Very friendly and helpful stuff, solved every our wish and request. Tasty food. High service. Clean and well designed. Water sport center is great, tried almost everything there. Nice kids club with a lot of games.

A short but incredible stay at the Intercontinental Maamunagau. Absolutely loved our villas, the island, excursions, spa, food and staff. The best house reef we experienced at several resorts in the Maldives. Massive thanks to the whole team and special shoutout to Joy at Adult only retreat area. We will be back.

It was such a magical stay! The food was amazing, rooms were brilliant, activities were top class and the staff were all so amazing! I personally loved Joy who works at the Retreat. She was amazing from the get go. Special thanks to my butler Iyaaz who was also amazing! Highly recommend and will personally be back as well!

We had an amazing time at this resort. Having been to the Maldives many times , this resort may have become our favourite. The weather was very kind to us and we loved riding around on the bikes , the beautiful beach on the sunset side was stunning with very calm shallow water and no hard corals on the soft sand. I’m really fussy about the beaches so was very happy here. The food was excellent. A really high standard and lots of options. We used all the restaurants and had a beach bbq night too which was soo good. There is also a lagoon area which had a chic beach club vibe , nice and peaceful with an afternoon tea , included in HB, with cute sandwiches and pastries. At sunset we could go to the sunset bar and have drinks included. No hard sell at this resort they always mentioned what you could have that was included. Our room was better than expected from the pictures we saw. Spacious and a nice vibe. Everyone was so nice here and genuinely welcoming. A special mention to Fiktree for helping us at the airport. To Joy at the retreat for being so warm and friendly . Masood at breakfast and the lighthouse for excellent service . Diwi for providing help throughout and always leaving treats and special drinks in our room for when we got back every afternoon. And finally mr Jude.. who went above and beyond when I was ill when leaving and got some throat sweets sent to me at the airport before I left. It was the best surprise as I really needed them . It was so thoughtful . From a Maldives regular visitor I would Fully recommend this resort and hopefully will be able to return again . Thank you so much . David and Kerry
