The avi spa was amazing thank you Nita and Vina for the amazing massage thia(Nita) foot massage(Vina) it was a Very nice experience i recommend visiting the spa and it was my first time to crack my back very satisfying, also there we Dolphins today that we spotted from out room. Also one more thing we asked them to make the pool more private they added curtain.

We’ve been coming to the Maldives for the last 20 years and have been to a lot of top class resorts. The Intercontinental is right up there with best. Three things are the most important to us… First is the location and prettiness of the island. From the gardeners and maintenance who work behind the scenes (and who always smile and greet you) to make this island so beautiful and pristine. Second is the food…at the Intercontinental it is exquisite with lots of variations from Asian, Maldivian, Mediterranean and much more. The chefs and their teams are very capable offering lots of variety and are happy to tone down spicy dishes on request. The breakfast choice is outstanding. Last but by no means least are the wonderful staff. Reinhold - your team are a credit to you. Offering friendly greetings and smiles. Having banter and I like to think we have made some new friends. Nothing is too much trouble. They are happy if you are happy. I would like to thank cheeky Atiq, Alok, the gorgeous Sweety (I have my eyes peeled!) Snethit, your knowledge and passion for wine is outstanding, Arul who also made our year seeing the newly hatched baby turtles, Hamman, Cindy, Nicky for your magic hands in the spa, Jocelyn, Hammu, Minsoe and all of you who made our stay so fantastic. Sorry if I missed anyone. Dwi our curator expertly and efficiently booked our restaurants and spas, she’s always there for us and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks also to the housekeeping staff who serviced our room very well and we always came back to our room all refreshed like magic. Our beds were the comfiest ever. Almost missed breakfast most mornings as didn’t want to leave it! Thank you all we can’t wait to come back

신혼여행으로 오게되었습니다. 여러군데 알아보다가 조금 가격대가 있더라도 기왕이면 리뷰좋고 네임밸류있는 곳이 신뢰가 가서 선택하게 되었습니다. 역시나 모든 것이 완벽했습니다. 대부분의 음식들이 퀄리티가 좋았고 저와 와이프 입맛에 잘 맞았습니다. 가장 좋았던 것은 직원들의 친절함이었습니다. 모든 직원들이 트레이닝이 잘 돼있어 매뉴얼대로 착착 움직이는 것이 인상깊었고, 특히나 저희 담당 큐레이터 Mira 씨가 한국말 소통도 잘 되고 신경을 많이 써주어서 고마웠습니다. 좋은 경험하게 해준 모든 직원들에게 감사합니다. 아쉬웠던 점: 올인클루시브에 포함되지 않은 주류들과 디쉬들이 너무 비쌉니다. 가격을 조금만 낮춘다면 더 다양한 경험을 할 수 있었을 것 같습니다. 낚시체험 후, 생선은 굳이 안먹어봐도 될 것 같습니다. 스테이크류는 전반적으로 질겼습니다. (미디움레어) 전반적으로 맛있었지만, 가장 좋았던 메뉴들과 좀 아쉬웠던 메뉴들입니다. 일단 파스타류와 아시안 음식들이 실패가 없고 맛있었습니다. 저의 개인취향이니 이것저것 드셔보는게 좋을것 같습니다. Best dishes… Cafe umi: 똠양꿍, bolognaise Retreat: squid ink fettuccini Fish market: taiwanese bao, shanhai dumpling, 팟타이, coconut soup Light house: trout carpaccio, polenta Bad… Fish market: pork belly -> 고기가 너무 질기고 딱딱합니다. 개선이 필요합니다. We have just returned and what I can say - it was a great holiday for my family. The resort itself does not have any particular minuses: villa is well equipped, food is tasty and the service is perfect everywhere at every time , we felt ourselves as valuable guests during the whole stay. We stayed at Lagoon pool villa and it is an excellent place if you have small kids: the lagoon has easy access and the water is calm even if there is a strong wind and waves outside at the ocean side. First we would like to book beach villa but all of them were sold out, but taking into consideration the experience of our stay we are absolutely not disappointed. I can strongly recommend Intercontinental Maldives Maamunagau, it is the one of a few resorts where I would like to return again. Management is definitely doing a great job, thank you Mr Reinhold. Also my personal thanks to Mr Thoif - our curator and a great professional and Mr Zain for their attention and 24/7 support.
