The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur

No words can adequately describe the perfection of this hotel. Oberoi puts the customer and service above all else and it shows! The grounds and rooms are fabulous but above all are the staff! Treated as a valued guest nothing too much trouble. Never seen such happy staff in a hotel. Nothing too much trouble. We had gifts. I left my bag at the airport containing a hat and my holiday books. The hotel sent someone to the airport. Bag found and returned to me. Hat missing but books found. The hotel gave us 2 hats as a gift. The food and beverages were top notch and one of the best espresso cocktails ever! Such a serene hotel and was so sad to leave. Will definitely return

A lovely oasis outside the city. It was a 40 minute drive out of town, but really worth it. The staff were exceptional and competent, and made us feel at home immediately. The rooms were very nice, with bathrooms looking out on private garden spaces. The lights were annoying as usual with strange switches. Food was extremely good - we had a wonderful Indian meal, with surprisingly pleasant and unobtrusive live Indian music. Portions were large, don’t overorder! Breakfast was perfect, and we even had a cake delivered for an upcoming birthday - without us having to mention it. We had a car from them to take us to Delhi - excellent service. We didn’t find the bar very comfortable or inviting and the margaritas were a 3 at best (definitely not classic!). The reception area could maybe offer more seating. They did gave us a lovely goodbye.

The staff were always attentive and pleasant. The property was beautiful. The food was a delight. There really are just no negatives of which to speak. The Holi party at the hotel was a lot of fun. The nightly arrival of the parakeet flocks was a marvel. The peacocks add true beauty.

Unmatched hospitality and one of the best meals in the country. If you think you’ve done Jaipur, you haven’t done it this way. The staff anticipates your every need before you realize it yourself. Order the Rajasthani thali and the whole baked chicken at Rajmahal—easily one of our most memorable meals anywhere!

Talk about experience and this place is for you! The hospitality here is great alongside the food. Special thanks to Ms. Nandini who made us feel like we are at home. Thank you so much for making our Anniversary dinner an amazing one. Will surely visit again!
