Easter Family Fun

Overall a nice hotel but a few areas are lacking on our humble opinion. Kids Club was phenomenal experience for our 7 year old and the girls Bella, Melanie,Shanika & Nishadi you were amazing , thank you very much for all you did for our little one. Main Buffet was offering a good selection , although the lack of fruit options was a little frustrating as well as the consistency of food, but all in all a good experience with lovely staff. Shamir the chef was helpful for our fussy little one. Also the Lebanese was a great restaurant and also the pool bar for food was good also. Beach staff were excellent and plenty of beds available and very prompt with the drinks . Now to the negatives - Gym was nowhere near big enough for the hotel and not enough kit for a hotel this size, the shallow are on the pool has a very sharp floor and kids were constantly cutting themselves on this , and whilst the Pool Manager ( can’t recall his name ) was amazing the supporting staff that were around him from a hospitality perspective are in need of some attentive training . Also from a room perspective the cleaning was not as thorough as it should be , but they were all lovely , just not maybe as end to end as they need to be on this competitive market space. And lastly which is the show stopper for us , if you are coming here for a quiet price of Dubai , think again as construction noise is very obvious and it starts from circa 06:00am. Emirates highlighted nothing to us , however on speaking to the GM it was related to Emirates , however they have chosen not to apply this in their online brief . Would I come back? Yes I would when the construction is done . Happy Holidays !!

Perfect family vacation

This hotel has great facilities including a lovely beach, pool, and activities that occupied our group of 12 with ages from 8-70. What really makes the hotel is the staff who go above and beyond in the heat working tirelessly to please the guests. We celebrated 2 birthdays whilst there and the staff made a great effort to make this feel like a special trip. Many staff to thank including those who didn’t have names tags but some of the names I recall include: - Kadhija at the spa who gave a fabulous massage -Khine who worked very hard to serve us at Levant - Naofal checking in on us at Saffar daily to see if we needed anything - David who served us at Saffar - Shibin one of the chefs hat Saffar who went out of his way to ensure everyone in the group ate well and provided additional options for the kids and vegetarians in the group - Milan, one of the restaurant managers who arranged my daughter birthday cake. Many others to thank including housekeeping who decorated our room for my daughters birthday, the pool staff and the bussers who worked hard to clear the tables away in the heat. Thank you! Will definately recommend to others.

Unorganized staff

terrible - do not stay here. It’s a nice hotel but the staff are all over the place. Arrived at 2pm after being told I could check in at this time the day before, but they then left me waiting till 4pm. Bad experience and dont expect your room on time.

Villa with pool

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Very good, stayed at the villa with private pool which was a great experience had other family members and kids drop by and was a blast. The personal assistant rechky was great and ensured the stay is uninterrupted. When shall we face which was annoying I would say but it’s still a minor issue was when you woke up the lights did not turn on. I kept trying to turn it on and off, but it couldn’t. We couldn’t turn it on. it’s just a minor thing.

Outstanding service in a paradise setting

Enjoyed an amazing stay and definitely hope to return. We stayed in the club building which is adjacent to the rest of the hotel but provides a more relaxed atmosphere. No children under 16 are allowed in the pool area which meant we had a very relaxed and peaceful time! As part of our package we had breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour 530-730pm. The staff were outstanding from the time we arrived until we left. The staff at the Club were particularly attentive. We are at both restaurants and particularly enjoyed the Lebanese one. We also enjoyed having after dinner drinks in the bar in the main hotel. We look forward to staying there again.
