Great stay in this classy, yet laid back hotel. Great location on Mina Al Arab island a short ride from RAK city centre. Worth upgrading to one of the Terrace rooms with the larger balcony and position. The relaxing layout of the hotel, pool, gardens and beach are complimented by the wonderful staff who go the extra mile to make you feel valued and comfortable. From the moment you arrive and the guys who park your car, the pool staff who find you a lounger the staff in the restaurant, all so helpful and always with a smile. A special call out to Chef Marley who arranged a great pasta course for us 😋 Thank you. Looking forward to another stay on our next visit to UAE.

Great hotel and staff especially Lalu who cleaned my room to the best standard! The level of service was excellent throughout the hotel, good was top tier and the facilities such as the fitness centre and myriad of swimming pools and beach beds were brilliant.

Looking forward to a 5 star all inclusive holiday in the sun at the intercontinental Ras al Khaimah resort did not match expectations. Although the resort itself is impressive, unfortunately a few issues resulted in a less than satisfactory experience. Sited next to a building site and being awoken by diggers and lorries at 7.30, which continued throughout the day, was disappointing. The building work is happening right down to the beach where they are excavating rubble etc and meant relaxing on the beach was impossible. Follow this up with some form of black oil leak on the beach which resulted in oil on my feet and the beach being closed while staff collected the oil from the water and sand with spades and sacks - left a lot to be desired. An odd all inclusive package meant you could not order anything to drink from the beach bar after 5.30 in the evening and the coffee bar would only let you order after 7.00 in the evening when the pool bar closed, despite both being barely used at the time, seems a pointless restriction. Although my daughter and I enjoyed the break, unfortunately it wasn’t the experience I was expecting from our first trip to Dubai.

We were here for 10 days at the end of January. We wanted to try a resort away from all the busyness of Dubai. This ticked everything on our wish list. The club room and lounge was a resort within the resort with excellent attentive service. I will name just a few members of the team who made our stay special Gerilyn isran May Jeena Pryantha There are just a couple of things that could have made our stay even better. An additional al la carte restaurant (we tend not to eat at large hotel buffet restaurants) A functional mirror at the desk/ vanity area in the bedroom, if I sat to dry my hair the mirror was too high and standing was onerous and still not right. We are considering returning same time in 2026

A Fantastic Hotel Experience! This was our first time in Ras Al Khaimah and our first stay at an InterContinental hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were outstanding, especially Tamine Mieg and Irson Ameliy in the Club Lounge, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. They took such great care of our entire family, and we are incredibly grateful. Also May for the amazing cocktails and service! A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and the world-class chefs for their exceptional service and hospitality. We cant wait to return!
