I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel for a week in early January with my family. As IHG members who have previously stayed at other InterContinental hotels in the Emirates, we were incredibly impressed by the service at this property. The attention to our needs was outstanding! The staff, including the guest relations managers, consistently sought and addressed our feedback promptly. The hospitality here was exceptional in every detail—from the excellent valet parking services to the thoughtful breakfast service and attentive assistance in the pool area. Traveling with two children (a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old) can be challenging, but the care we received made our holiday truly special. I’d like to share particular praise for the staff at the Kids Club, especially Melanie, Bellah, Nishadi and Shanika. Our daughter, Sophia, had an incredible time and couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved it. The Kids Club offered daily craft activities, a wide variety of toys (far more than we’ve seen at other hotels), and plenty of indoor space for her to play and explore. The team truly made her experience unforgettable. Lastly, I want to thank Hanane, the Lebanese restaurant Levant & Nar hostess. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. From helping us settle in with the kids to arranging buggy service after dinner, her kind and welcoming attitude made the evening all the more pleasant. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and stands out even among other InterContinental properties. We will be back!

Overall we really liked this place and would probably come back but it did seem understaffed. I am putting service issues down to time of year. Location - About an hour from Dubai airport and a perfect chill location. There’s not a huge amount to do in Ras Al Khaimah but perfect for a relaxing holiday on the beach. Check-in - took longer than it should have as only one of their systems was working. The reception staff were very apologetic and offered us a coffee while we waited, it was fine and we checked in early so I had no issues. However, when we checked out 4 days later they were still operating with only one system between them, causing queues and unhappy guests. Room - well decorated, clean and luxurious rooms with lots of space and seating, including a day bed on the balcony. We had a King room on the Club side with panoramic sea view which was beautiful and has sun on the balcony in the afternoon. Standard Intercontinental Byredo products in the bathroom. Beach - we are not beach people and generally prefer the pool but the beach was lovely and quiet with the option for sun or shade and we stayed here for the duration of our trip. The water was cool but fine when you’re in. The staff on the beach will provide towels and water and set you up with sunbeds as well as bring food and drinks from the pool bar. Pool - huge with a lot of loungers both at the pool and around the periphery. Restaurants - NoHo - lovely food, the tuna ceviche starter and pistachio lamb main were to die for. The service, however, was dreadful. We waited over 30 minutes to order a drink with no apology, I think the staff were oblivious to us being there. The table next to us waited so long for food that they took a few bites and left. Levant and Nar - perfect in every way! The location overlooking the sea, the fire pit providing the atmosphere and the staff giving great service were just the start. The signature dish of Lamachun is not to be missed, think super crispy based pizza with spiced lamb, the oven baked chicken with rice was equally delicious. So good that we went twice. Abhishek (?) was an amazing waiter. Club lounge - possibly the biggest IC club lounge we have been in with a great range for breakfast (served til 1030), afternoon tea (1430-1630) and cocktails and canapés (1730-1930). Lots of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits were available to wash down the selection of hot and cold canapés. May and Jenna were excellent. The service was very changeable, one day it would be excellent and the next you would have to wait ages for breakfast or drinks orders. On one occasion my breakfast order didn’t come at all, despite me telling another member of staff that I will still waiting for it. This is a great hotel, just needs a few more staff to be excellent.

It’s probably one of the biggest resorts around with multiple facilities. The rooms are spacious and luxurious too. Staff is really nice and attentive. Shasha pool bar has great drinks for you to enjoy while having a dip. Happy hours at Noho have a long list of drinks for you to choose from. Special thanks to Jessica at saffar for making us feel special. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back for more.

Excellent location, superb service, spacious, clean and modern rooms. Especially Club section is worth the money. Snacks offered at the club section are delicious. The only downside of the Hotel is lack of better restaurants (the ones in the hotel are moderate).
