Fantastic sports book section

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The only thing we did here was go to the sports book on Sunday for NFL football.. But, it was an incredible place. There was a whole circle of large screens hanging from the ceiling showing every game. The seats were comfortable. if you are going to watch sports in Reno, this is the place to go.

Shout out to 2 great slot attendants

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Stupid and tired, I cashed out of a machine and left the ticket. Ashley, a slot attendant in the high limits area, was so sweet and got ahold of Rhoda, the slot manager, and they worked to figure out what happened to the ticket. They got an image of the person who cashed in the ticket and although I'm not sure yet if they found him, they did give me half the amount in free play and said they would continue to work on getting the rest back. Thank you both for the caring attention given to my mistake. You were both so kind.

Nice place

Nice hotel with great restaurants! The conference spaces are perfect for large events. The rooms are mostly clean and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is the cigarette smell from the casino is everywhere which is very bad for public health.

Great Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

This hotel was pretty great. Nice remodeled rooms. The pool area was wonderful. Instead of blasting party music it was quite quiet and relaxing. The all you can eat sushi at oceana was really good. AND extra points for this: I forgot my bathing suit on the back of the bathroom door. On their website they provide an easy to fill out form. I did and 3 days later I received my suit in the mail. Who does that kind of service any more?

Bad customer service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We had a bad experience We arrived about 9pm with our hot rod the man in the front would not let us drop off our luggage with the trailer on the back of our truck so we went around the back dropped off our hot rod then we were told to take our trailer to the local school off plum street (buy the way someone got there truck stolen there) We got a call the next morning saying we have to pay 300$ to park there !!!! After we dropped off the trailer we drove back to the hotel pulled up to the front to drop off our luggage and the bell man told us he would take our luggage to our room but it was going to take over a hour or to because he had to drive to Carson to pick someone up, so we asked if we could use his cart to take our own luggage to our room . We made it to our room and the room smelled like smoke so bad I called the front desk I got a gal named Angelia Who was very rude. I told her that the room wasn’t the room we reserved. We argued back and forth for a while. She wound up hanging up on me and that made me angry.and by now it’s like midnight we finally got a gal named Bonnie who we told our story to and she finally put us in another room for 70$MORE A NIGHT. There mess up cost us that much more and we stayed for 7 days !!!!! So the moral of the story is we probably won’t be staying here anymore, We will take our business elsewhere for hot August nights!!!!!
