On his mythical voyage through the Aegean Sea, Ulysses could never have foreseen the magnificent possibilities of a luxury hotel resting gently below the acropolis of Lindos, overlooking the white sand beaches and deep blue waters of the island of Rhodes. This awe-inspiring creation, however, is precisely what has been accomplished with Melenos Lindos. With twelve rooms each offering traditional hand-carved wooden sleep platforms, beautiful hand-painted ceilings, and a fantastic blend of Mediterranean architecture, you are immediately immersed in the culture of classical Greece while still having access to all the modern and technological accommodations desired. Each room also features a private terrace overlooking the azure waters of Lindos, which beckon even the most active of vacationers to sit for a minute and admire the surrounding natural beauty.

The name of Melenos Art Boutique Hotel not only fills us with tremendous excitement but also accurately describes it - a stunning luxury boutique hotel filled with art and beauty. This was our 3rd visit to Melenos and once again we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room was stunning with everything you need and more. All the rooms we have stayed in have been exceptional. Attention to detail and small extra touches of elegance & comfort everywhere you look. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly from the reception and management, to waiting staff and the invisible cleaning staff, who you never seem to see but keep everything in such fine order. They know what we need even before we've even asked for it! Our terrace was magnificent and the view just breathtaking. Breakfast was scrumptious with lots of choice and the breakfast area just such a great place to sit, eat, reflect and enjoy your surroundings. When we stay at Melenos we don't plan day trips - we want to stay and enjoy being in the hotel, our room and the terrace. Melenos allows us to breathe..............Thank you Melenos we will be back xx

If we could give more than 5 stars we absolutely would! We love Lindos, we have visited 3 times in the past 18 months and quickly decided that we wanted to get married in Lindos at the wonderful Melenos. Lindos is a hidden gem that steals your heart and always leaves you wanting more! When we discovered Melenos we fell in love. The hotel gives you such a unique experience. The decor is absolutely stunning, you see something new every time you turn around. You really feel at home so quickly which is mainly down to the people who work there. The whole team makes you feel so welcome! From start to finish every time we have be to Melenos it has been a Luxury & memorable trip. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, cleanliness, comfort of rooms and breakfast are all perfect Melenos, we will never be able to thank you enough for hosting our dream wedding, everything was perfect! Thank you for your support in organising not only our wedding but the 4 day experience for our family. Our family and friends loved the wedding but they continuously come back to how you made them feel! You have created memories which will last forever and treated our loved ones with such kindness. We would highly recommend Melenos when you go to Rhodes along with some of our favourite restaurants, Broccolino, Tambakio & Dionysos. Whilst on our wedding trip we also really enjoyed our trips to Lindos beach we took all our friends to Panos! The beds, food, wine, cocktails, service and hospitality were amazing! I could go on and on! You just have to go to experience it for yourself! Melenos & Lindos are hidden gems that steal your heart and always leave you wanting more! Melenos we love you! Always and forever Mr & Mrs Jackson 2024

We had a wonderful time staying at this unique boutique hotel. It is laid out like a tiny whitewashed village in a lovely peaceful location. Our superior room 12 was very traditional and had a private terrace overlooking the sea. The staff, especially Georgia and Val, were very attentive and even arranged a bottle of champagne for my husband’s birthday. Beautiful secluded terrace for breakfast with a good range of delicious food. A most individual and memorable place - thank you.

A beautiful hotel tucked away in a quiet part of Lindos but very close to Pallas beach (the best one), the Acropolis & the nicest restaurants The rooms are beautiful with great views (though most review pictures don’t do them justice) Georgia was very welcoming & helpful and rightfully proud of this great hotel. Will book again

The Melenos Art Boutique has captured our hearts and has proven to be a little piece of paradise and the hidden gem of Lindos! This hotel boasts the most stunning location with breathtaking views of the bay and beyond. We arrived late at night and found sandwiches, cake and wine waiting for us in our beautiful superior suite. A nice little touch as all the restaurants were closed. It was a sheer delight to spend 10 nights at the Melenos. The small team of staff make this hotel an unforgettable, perfect experience, and they all need full recognition for their contributions. The breakfasts are delicious and served in the most beautiful garden overlooking the bay on one side, and overlooked by the Acropolis on the other, what more could one ask for? Lindos itself is captivating with an abundance of restaurants and gift shops and the atmosphere is very low-key. There is no pressure from front-of-house staff at restaurants and we were able to view the menus without hassle. There is a list of restaurant recommendations in the suite and we found this very helpful. We found it best to book the day before as it does get very busy in Lindos with day tourists. It's been 16 years since my last visit and sadly the poor donkeys are still being used to transport lazy people up to the Acropolis. Having said that, they do look in better health and there is a weight limit, but it is still a tragic sight to see adults riding the poor worn-out animals. We hired a car for 5 days as there's not much to do once the Acropolis, 2 small beaches and St Paul's Bay, which is on the doorstep, have been explored. Many thanks to Georgia and all of the team, it was a beautiful, unforgettable experience. Enjoy your rest once the season comes to an end. Best wishes, J & A
