Reviews for Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico

Horrible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Food is mediocre at best with extremely high prices. Rooms were not always cleaned. Beach has flies that will bite so the only place to be is at the pool.

Worst vacation ever in Puerto Rico

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Very disappointed with the quality of service I received at the hyatt grand reserve in Puerto Rico. We went out there to play in a tournament support the island. My room was beautiful but I had to sleep with a AC system that sounded like a jet engine. My room wasn't made up for about half my trip. Had to call customer service for emergency towels. They tell you to call the front desk for transportation and by the time they get to your room, you have already walked to the parking area. My wife had double knee replacement and had to watch golf carts go by like it was the indy 500. Front desk needs better customer service. I've never seen someone talk to a customer on the phone, while dealing with a customer in front of them. Breakfast was very overpriced and some of the stuff wasn't even cooked all the way.

Resort stay

Beautiful resort with well kept grounds and nice pool area. Beach is terrible and basically unswimmable. Difficulty even getting chairs and umbrella on beach. Room was beautiful with great ocean view( thanks for upgrade). Resort restaurants were generally good but expensive You are a captive since resort is quite isolated. Had bad experience at Japanese restaurant ( so slow and sent back salmon twice and finally gave up). Overall experience was good but if you like a beach experience would skip this resort

Quick 5-Day vacation

Excellent, service is amazing; especially the Market. (Gregory is the best!). The staff is very attentive & knowledgeable. Will go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable & well taken care of. Plenty of amenities & restaurants for everyone to enjoy regardless of preferences. For sure one of the best places to enjoy in Puerto Rico

Don’t waste your time

Go spend your money somewhere else. It’s a resort but you need a car. Taxis from the airport is 75-110 one way. The rooms are smelly. There large but empty. No decor just a TV that’s not centered, no microwave or fridge. Not worth the money and the food suck
