I really liked how friendly the staff were. They seemed very proud that we chose to stay in Puerto Rico for our vacation. We enjoyed the beach and the pools and the restaurant, even though it was very crowded due to it being spring break. We are already looking forward to going again.

My stay here was fantastic! The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond for everything we needed. I highly recommend the Rain Forest Spa! The food there was incredible as well! The rice pudding in the market was to die for; me and my friend got one every morning along with our coffee!

Everyone from housekeeping, front desk, bar/poolside service and grounds crew were very friendly, courteous, and helpful! No complaints. HRGR was the best resort we have ever stayed at. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff, grounds, the pools, food and drink options, and especially the room. Everything exceeded our expectations!

We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency! We traveled from NY with our two kids (ages 6 and 9). The pools were amazing. The larger pool has such a fun vibe (shout out to Nefertiti and Ricardo for being so kind and cheerful!) and the one near our room was more calm with free daybeds! The lunch taco truck was so flavorful and delicious. Get the chicken tacos! There was an area to take balls and floaties for free which was really nice. They don't have a ton, but you can also purchase them. We played pickleball and tennis and it was very easy to rent the equipment (no charge). They also have kids activities throughout the day (like "fishing" in the kids pool or playing dominoes. The restaurants were all very good. Nori Asian Grill was really good - the kids loved the noodles! Shoutout to Thais for being an absolute delight - she made our experience at Nori Asian Grill and Nori Hibachi so wonderful. Hibachi was so much fun - the kids loved the show. We also loved the dishes at Nectar and it was really nice for the kids to try Puerto Rican food. We did not try the steak house because we ended up doing room service one night. The strip of beach is really nice. The water is calm and it was fun to go kayaking in the morning. The hammocks by the beach are so gorgeous and relaxing. My husband had coffee and read a book there every morning. There are a ton of volleyball courts on the property including in the pool which was fun. While our stay was amazing there were only a few downsides: 1.) The service at Molido in the morning was very slow. I waited 45 minutes for coffee and all the other guests were annoyed as well. We ended up going to the Market for coffee which was further from our room but SO MUCH faster. 2.) You have to wake up at 7am to get chairs at the pools. If you don't, you will not have chairs by beach or pool. Everyone comes out to put things on chairs and then leaves for breakfast etc. This is a MUST. 3.) As mentioned in many reviews, there is a lot of seaweed but it's further into the water. So bring beach shoes if you want to go further in. We just stayed within 20 feet of the shore so it wasn't an issue for us. 4.) Not really a downside but there's not much entertainment in the evening. If you require that then it's probably not the right place for you. Overall, a very beautiful and well-run hotel. If they gave out half stars this would be a 4.5 star hotel.
